I think Spinosaurus was in the Middle Cretaceous period and the T. Rex in the Late Cretaceous period
They also lived in different areas: Spinosaurus in North Africa and Tyrannosaurus in North America

That reason being that way they can show how dinosaurs got together in the past
thats usual animal behaviour, plus almost every documentary, not only dinosaur ones, involve mating. why would prehistoric planet be an exception?
