You always need some bitcoin in your portfolio for some stability. If you have made your first hundred thousand in your life, you have to be careful not to blow it up. We get this stories all the time after the bull market. That is a good chunk of change, it is worth building a foundation on it. You don’t want you portfolio all over the place on a daily basis with the swings in crypto
No Lark, sorry - this is really a bad advice. The chances a new person in crypto to do 100x is almost 0. If one could double his money first bull run, he/she is doing already much better than the rest. Getting into initially the very low market cap cryptos is a disaster in making. Most of the young people with little saved cash are better to simply buy Ethereum, Iluvium, Chainlink or ICP and wait until first quater of the 2025 and sell everything. Then simply wait for the next bear market and buy the same coins again or BTC, regardless what gains they have missed by selling too early. The young people would have many more bull runs in front of them, they don't need to pay for the expensive lessions we all paid for.
