    I have two fun Prophecy facts: Prophecy is the first dungeon where you can't see the end from the beginning, unless you count the final boss showing up before the Phalanx boss, in which case Duality is the first. And mentioned in a Bungie ride-along through Prophecy, the "cube" puzzle doesn't actually rotate: they teleport you to six identical rooms rotated and play a rotation effect on your screen, because the engine wouldn't literally allow the room to spin (same with the final boss room, which is also a rotating shape).

    my favorite prophecy fact is at the end theres a fairly rare dialogue from drifter "My My Guardian, you just Guardian'ed all over the dungeon!" its very rare and dont ask how i know about it

    The wasteland being planets taken by the witness was already mentioned
    And my theory is rainbow road represents the travel's space battle with the pyramids. Colorful ribbons piercing pyramidal structures
    At the end of rainbow road you enter a giant structure with a hole in it to defeat the darkness
    Also theres a lore entry that is essentially a 4th wall break. Orin (the emmisary) knows the Guardian can pretty much "log off" from existence and come back when they please. However she tries to explain this power to the Nine and they dont understand what that means

      Yeah the lore was from season 6 when this all came out. Prophecy was the end of these weekly messages of the emissary I think they were called. The 4th wall break was one of those messages. There was a byf video about it I'm sure

    You mentioned the many lines of dialogue contained in this dungeon but you did not talk about how to trigger the "secret ones":
    After finishing the Hexahedron encounter you head back into the Wasteland - but don't head to the ribbon road yet. Instead search around the different structures in the wasteland that represent the vaulted planets until you find the Emissary of the Nine hanging around at one of them.
    Get close to her and you will trigger dialogue, usually between Eris and Drifter.
    After the first place you can find the Emissary in 3 more places (4 total, always the same ones in the same order) in the Wasteland per run.
    Each of them have a set of multiple voice interactions assigned to them but which ones you get is random every time. (In Multiplayer they are not synced either so every Fireteam member usually gets different lines of dialogue at the same Emissary location.)

    I think the finalized/cut up structure was intentional! The dungeon foreshadows some other stuff, too-if you go all the way down the path during the kell echo fight and turn around, the room looks like the first mission of LF where you enter the traveler! Plus the planets in the Wasteland were later taken by the witness (vaulted)

    Re: the finalized shape: the infinite forest gate on Mercury just looked like that already, so I'm not sure it's a reference to the witness.
    For some more completely useless info, for the portal at the end of the boss dps room, if you jump at the side of the portal instead of stepping on it, you'll still get sucked in. It's definitely easier to time when solo or when your teammates are already standing on it.

    Me and everyone I ever played with always thought that when Toland is on the roof, you can dunk on any side. Only after all these years, I learn that this is not the correct way of doing it and you gotta look at the cube... Insane

    I remember the devs saying that they designed this dungeon's encounter arenas to start from a circle/sphere (Phalanx), transitioning into a square/hexahedron (Hexahedron), and finally ending up at a triangle/pyramid (Kell Echo)
    This might have been more of a Traveler VS Pyramid ships theme, but they're also the shapes from Salvation's Edge

      ​@PitOfHeresyEnjoyer to add on to this, in the Heaven/Hell area, on the stairs leading to the other encounters, there's shapes inscribed: square on the stairs leading to Hexahedron, and a triangle on the stairs leading to rainbow road/Kell echo. I saw it while trying to solo flawless, it took way too many attempts, but I always did the skip so I'm not sure if there's a circle one before the first encounter

    Prophecy also foreshadowed the upcoming importance of Caiatl and Eramis to the story at that time, with the first and last bosses being the echoes of them respectively.

    Semi tangentially related, but the nine do often hint at other players in the story. Whether intentional or not, in dares of eternity if you do a birds eye view of the long walk to the starting wheel it's in the shape of the winnower's sword from his concept art. This design is only seen one other time in the pyramid architecture from Europa's Simulation: Agility.

    In the final encounter, after 3 damage phases, when you teleport back, the ogres will have already spawned. You can just go right into another damage phase.
    I don't think most people know that because a 3 phase is more than enough to kill Kell Echo, even solo.

    The symbols in the hexahedron encounter appear each time you dunk on a Toland indicated side so in the case of a 'trolland' you have to rotate the cube once to teleport to an area where you can dunk on Toland and progress. As far as I can tell there is no meaningful difference between dunking on a symbol vs not

    Not sure if anyone has said this yet but the “Prophecy” the dungeon is named after is probably the nine warning us about the future, as all the destinations you can find were the planets that were vaulted, and the final boss being a kell echo could be a representation of Eramis 🤔

    For the finalised shape:
    We do not know what Bungie really intended here. It could be an early prophecy of a finalised shape or it could just be a sick as design. However due to the nature of this dungeon, being a crafted prophecy that foretold us fighting Eramis, the Planets being sucked off and the Traveler being infected with Darkness, even if it was not intentional we could just count it as a happy little accident

    3 other facts from most useful to least
    1. in the cube when you finish a room if you step onto the plate and then quickly slide/dodge/sword off it, you don't get pulled into the air but you still get teleported, this is easier to do solo.
    2. at the end of the ribbon road, when you are getting pulled up by the tractor beam, if you jump on/off of your sparrow enough it drops you, there's probably a timing to it.
    3. after you beat kell echo, the room with the emissary has no kill box in the sky and no ceiling, you could sparrow fly out of the room, but now you can't summon your sparrow, this is probably still possible with a prospector launch.
    edit: in the emissary room there is no ceiling, but there is a point where the game tries to teleport you back to the ground, you can dodge the teleport with some horizontal movements, previously dodging on a sparrow or jumping off of a sparrow would work but now you need to be the god of sparrow flying to make that work. the only other ways I could think of are strand hunter with rocket/lumina grapples and when you are about to be teleported you use the grapple melee and then grapple a second projectile, or navigator swapping and eager edge sword when you are about to be teleported which I think would be best on titan, but I don't have strand, so I can't test these.

      Cant do it consistently but ive managed to spawn a sparrow in final boss room a few times the moment I got teleported so it is still possible to fly up there.
      Not nearly as easily as before though.

      So basically just being fast.

    Prophecy enjoyer here, and I did not know that about the cube in the middle of Hex when Toland is on the ceiling. It makes sense why it sometimes progresses the encounter and sometimes doesn't - I'll try that again soon! Thanks

    If you plan on making this into a series, I’ve got a few facts about Spire.
    Firstly, during the first major platforming section, you can hear classical music being played which I believe is something Rasputin is quite fond of.
    Second, there is a skip that can only be performed on Stasis Hunter and in a fireteam of two or three people because part of the skip involves the hunter player going oob while the other two teammates complete the initial set of nodes. (If anyone is curious on this, let me know and I can explain it to the best of my abilities)
    Third, there’s a very rare piece of dialogue (so rare that I haven’t heard it in over 94 clears) where Osiris mentions the final boss Harpy unleashing a “vexplosion” in the reactor.
    Fourth, the guardians featured on the promotional material wearing the dungeon armor have canon names, referenced in the armor set names and descriptions
    Additionally, the exotic bow from the dungeon sometimes plays voice clips in Russian when swapping to it.
    Finally, while not technically an easter egg and more so just laziness on Bungie’s part, Spire of the Watcher is the only dungeon post Grasp of Avarice that doesn't have any hidden interactions or encounters related to getting it's catalyst, instead just dropping from clearing the dungeon on Master difficulty. (whereas GoA had the engrams you brought to chests, Duality had the hidden enemies with the flags you have to carry, GoTD had the hidden runes and Lucent Hive Boss, and Warlord's Ruin had the torches and capture zones required to earn the catalyst.)

    for phalanx fight, you need 5 motes to dunk on a bowl but each knight drops 3. If your arena needs 3 of the same mote, you only need the motes of 5 knights to dunk on all bowls instead of 6 knights if the bowls were different colours

    The end point is a reuse asset area from trials of the nine, so is big blue mommy 🙏 , when you would go flawless you'd scale the tower , then go down that same pit , hence the black dot , and land by big blue

    I've always interpreted trolland to mean "dunk anywhere it doesn't matter". I noticed the symbols in the middle but I've never used then for mechanics

    I would have to say NO tot the final shape foreshadowing. Keep in mind this is a VEX like structure like those found on Io, Nessus, and Venus. We have seen segmented vex pieces in other parts of the game. I would call it an interesting coincidence if anything. At best it would simply be a nod to the witness's ability to slice things into segments and not the final shape itself.

    While newer dungeons have surpassed it in quality, Prophecy is still definitely my favorite since it's available for F2P players and was the first one I Solo Flawlessed

      @@PitOfHeresyEnjoyer curiously,i consider that pit of heresy is the only """bad dungeon""" because of loot and the first 2 encounters,the final boss is better than persys tho,especially with heretical omen,anyway,i only have 19 clears in pit,while in prophecy i have 272.

    The issue is that most of this information is actually useful. Let me write your next video for you:
    You can hold out your ghost in Kell Echo to still have your ghost out in the end room
    In the end room, you can summon your sparrow, and it is possible to sparrow fly above the teleport zone and out of the map
    The giant emissary at the end has an entire body, including exposed feet
    No more than 6 hobgoblins can be spawned at once in the Hexahedron encounter
    Climbing to the top of the map in any hexahedron room will despawn the enemies. Returning will respawn them. Hobgoblins will not despawn, but this method will spawn another set.
    Kell Echo knights spawn based on which room you, personally, are located in. You can go out of bounds to spawn knights in different rooms, without progressing to them.
    At certain points, there are actually two Kell Echoes in the final boss fight. One is perpetually out-of-bounds, the other spawns in the dps room when it's time for dps. The oob one stands on a pillar, but teleports to a second pillar at certain points in the encounter.
    You can finisher glitch Phalanx Echo off the map. It teleports back in-bounds after a moment.
    Sometimes, when you load into a Phalanx Echo cp, you'll spawn in the corridor before Hexahedron. All the doors are closed, and the only way back to Phalanx Echo is to wipe.
    In the wasteland section after Hexahedron, Kell Echo can stomp you if you get close enough, even though she doesn't shoot you
    Sparrows cannot be pulled into the lifts in this dungeon. However, you can sparrow fly through the entrance into the dungeon proper, and it will still teleport you
    In Kell Echo, there is a delay after dunking the first two sets of motes before their respective ogres spawn. Ogre 3 spawns much quicker after you dunk the motes.
    Kell Echo loses a little bit of health at the end of every damage phase, after she is already immune to your attacks. She can die to this automatic health-loss.
    Kell Echo is immune until all players are in the dps room
    You can avoid being pulled into the dps room by staying on your sparrow
    If Kell Echo dies on the first platform, a new set of hobgoblins will sometimes spawn quicker than usual
    Useful: One goblin per set will immediately shield Phalanx Echo; the rest will ignore it. If you break that goblin's shield, no other goblins from that set will shield the boss, even the initial goblin if you keep it alive
    Useful: in Phalanx Echo, there is an invisible barrier that keeps motes from flying off the map
    Useful: there are several places, particularly in Hexahedron, where the ground appears to be dark/light, but it actually spawns light/dark motes. These spots are consistent and can be used to your advantage.
    Useful: You can shatterdive/phoenix dive/smoke dive through the downwards teleports faster than if you just let them drop you
    Useful: you can stand on top of a blight to not receive damage from it
    Useful: it is possible to predict Toland's positions in Hexahedron based on the first two rooms. Occasionally, in the third room, you can use this to your advantage by dunking a correct side even if Toland is on the ceiling.
    Useful: it is faster to jump, swipe with a big mote, then double-jump, as opposed to just running
    Useful: the pillars in the Kell Echo mote rooms often change ~5 seconds after you enter the room or start the encounter
    I'll add a comment with more below if I remember anymore fun stuff, but this is all I can think of off the top of my head.

      Here's a few more:
      Most people aren't aware of this, but more doubles exist in Phalanx Echo than just the initial two. There are 3 possible light doubles and 2 possible dark doubles
      When you enter the Hexahedron corridor, it kicks the first person off their sparrow. However, they can re-summon it immediately, and consecutive people won't be kicked off their sparrow
      After you take the lift up to Kell echo, you can climb back up into the tube to re-summon your sparrow
      The Kell Echo mote rooms are arranged on top of/next to each other in a square. The dps room is, funnily enough, above them, despite seeming to be on the bottom half of the octahedron
      "Hexahedron" means cube. Most people don't seem to know this
      There are 24 rotational symmetries of a cube. The order of the symmetry group is S4. I did my final project in my geometric group theory class on symmetry groups of cubes because of Hexahedron
      (Also, the symmetry group of a cube is the same as the symmetry group of an octahedron. However, since the Kell Echo octahedron is functionally just a tetrahedron + a dps room, the two encounters don't share the same symmetries)
      Kell Echo doesn't stay in the Phalanx Echo room if you skip the pre-phalanx echo encounter. If you complete the encounter, sometimes she sticks around
      The psions in the dark room of Kell Echo spawn faster than psions in other Kell Echo rooms
      If you activate a warlock jump immediately after you're teleported into a new Hexahedron rotation, you actually fly upwards a bit

      Also, there are four Kell echo dps rooms: a light room, a dark room, a pyramid room, and a traveler room. I've never seen anyone else recognize this before, but it's very obvious once you see it.

      @@PitOfHeresyEnjoyer In the Centurion Echo fight, the thralls only spawn after you kill the first centurion
      You can strand fly upwards inside the downwards teleports in order to not get teleported. This does not work for the upwards (Hexahedron) teleports
      You can walk on the rings around the phalanx echo room. If they're positioned right, you can even walk underneath the map on them. This is the only spot completely safe from enemies in the entire encounter
      Dunking a set of motes deals damage and can kill enemies
      You can see the oob Kell echo on your radar by going to the far back-right of the dps room after a damage phase
      The hexahedron rng is due to the rotational symmetries of cubes. It's not an intentional feature that they introduced to slow you down, it's actually necessary for the order of rooms to be properly random.
      The rings and semicircles in Phalanx Echo are entities. This means you can scorch, weaken, jolt, etc. them. They also used to interact with Warmind Cells
      Prophecy occasionally gains and loses bugs with new updates. I have no idea why new updates affect Prophecy, but they clearly do
      You can dunk motes at Kell Echo (and any other pillar) by standing next to the pillar, and even a bit below it
      Motes can fall through the map. This most often happens in the entrance and the first encounter of Kell Echo
      The outside of the Phalanx Echo map is a giant join allies. If you get pushed off the map by Phalanx Echo, you can live if you just hug the wall until it teleports you back
      Wizards and Hydras are the only standard Taken enemies to not appear in Prophecy. There are also no War Beasts or Incendiors, but those hardly exist anyway
      There are two rooms in Hexahedron where you can go underneath the middle platform. Two rooms have kill zones beneath it, and two rooms have a floor surrounding it

    Unfortunately the part ablut dunking on the unmarked side of the hexahedron when trolland goes to the top is misinformation. I have tried to do it multiple times with no success, and had other people try to prove me wrong only to test it and realize it doesnt work. You can only mark sides the toland ball is on, would be cool if you could tho

      You can, but dunking on certain wells will take you back to sides you’ve already completed

    Do other people still get all the dialogue? I play prophecy regularly and I have only heard the voice lines trigger at the start and the end of the dungeon :( which is a shame because I really miss hearing all the voice lines in the wasteland between Eris and Drifter
