"Asked questions, CHOICEs, DESTINation, courses, highways, ROUTEs, Royces rollin' voices" JID's actual name is Destin Choice Route, BARS He even said "got my choice route I'm destined for greatness" on Somebody of The Never Story
The thing that I think a lot of people don't catch on this particular song is he is talking to his sister but in the process what he's doing is saying out loud what he plans to say to his sister when she answers the phone at the end of the song when he actually transitions to where you know he's on the phone he gets the tone that the number is no longer in service so all the things that he was planning to say throughout this song he didn't get to the say because the sister had changed the number. If you listen to the song from that perspective everything he says has a totally different meaning. He's having this conversation which actually are his thoughts that he wants to be close to his sister he wants to let her know how much she means to him and also let her know how much the music industry is taking him different places where he's not as close to his family as he would like to be but yet and still halfway through the song as you noticed he has a bit of a problem with his sister so that's part of his thought too and his whole premise is to call his sister and they have all that out he tells her the good things they hash out the problems and they live happily ever after so to speak unfortunately the number that he has just like when he wrote her it was too late now he calls her and it's too late she's changed the number so there's a part of him where in the beginning he's calling to make up with his sister and let her no how important she is to him but as he thinks about it he gets to the point where him and his sister did have a misunderstanding that he realized he still has feelings about it but he continues to think about the phone call and then when he makes the phone call the number has been disconnected. Because if he was talking on the phone during the whole time you don't get that tone in the middle of a phone call you get that tone as soon as the phone number is called. So the point is he's talking and thinking before the phone call and when he makes the phone call he he ends up discovering that the number that he has for her is no longer correct. Listen to the words of that song There's a real nice hip hop flow but the words are not words of happiness and joy throughout that song where when he did the song about his brothers it was a much different feel this is a song about him trying to rebuild the relationship with the sister that he loves tremendously but ego and other things got in the way and time passed especially in the music industry that by the time he got around to saying all the things that he was thinking about that number is no good anymore. At that point what does a man do. My guess is we will find out on the next album
Aye thank you for this, it changes so many different perspectives of this song. This album he really put his heart in the album and you can tell through the songs.
In an interview he said that song is a true song. That sister doe not come around. She did believe the things he references. He was go into detail why she distant herself from the family. They still had not talked as that interview. He is a humble young man. He did bite on the interviewers attempt to get the dirt. He would get into but never put her down or say any negative about her. Basically just said thre bottom line is he loves her and he knows she loves him. Love he refused to air their laundry

When he says "playing with the lords name and using it in vain, you heard the song and said I did the same thing" I think he might be talking about baptized on the spill village album.
She said she a heard a song where he did the same thing (playing with the Lord's name) I'm wondering if it's that song Baptized he did with Earthgang. They was tiptoing on some sacrilege in that joint 🤔🤣
So you guys reference Kody Blu 31 a few times. That song was a tribute to a close friends son, whose name was Kody and his football number was 31. The kid was shot and killed and this was him doing something for his homegirl.
Homie got it at the beginning of the video... I've said JID is a fusion of KDOT and 3Stacks for years and when he said ATLiens and Good Kid M.A.A.D. City? FACTS
Lets go another reaction! Also, I saw yall replied to me, I now followed yall on twitter but I wasnt asking for an autograph, I was saying the title of Juice WRLDs song yall should react to is called "Autograph"
