Nice video! One thing I’d like to point out is they held Jayden Daniels to 5 yards of rushing that was the job of the edge rushers. Not to go for sacks but to contain him in the pocket not letting him scramble and run. And that’s not on the stat sheet. It will be seen as commanders didn’t let TJ and Alex wreck the game but it’s the other way around!
Great call!! Most wouldn’t realize the true impact the edge guys had in eliminating the threat of the run, and making Daniels one dimensional. Of course he and Scary Terry McLauren had a field day!! We are going to have to get used to seeing high scoring games 6 outta 8 games left. Teams know better now than ever that one now has to beat the Steelers offensive scoring AS WELL AS SOMEHOW SCORING ON THAT DEFENSE. It’s two different mindsets at play now that the Steelers are scoring at such a high clip, as opposed to the 4-2 Steelers. It’s a whole different ball game.
The discussion about Mike Williams at the beginning is a good example of why this pod has become my favorite NFL-related listen as of late. You've got a great mix of a no-nonsense attitude plus a lot of empathy for the players. Really makes it easy for the rest of us to relate.

If you follow the Steelers - you KNOW - EVERY. GAME. IS. CLOSE. Very rarely do the Steelers get blown out. Add Russell Wilson, and depth... Steelers start winning those games. And the Steelers continue to get better every week. This week against the Ravens will be an excellent gauge of Pittsburgh's progress.

i’m steelers fan and commanders are building championship team and atmosphere not a fluke gonna win Super bowl or two with Daniels and Quinn and Un happy to see it great organization enjoyed as. kid watching them with gigs at oline best ever IMO and with Doug Williams and Joe Theisman as a kid i lived in Carlisle Pa home of Redskins training camp use to watch training camp and that oline was like a herd of bulls coming at you smallest guy was 350 and guys were very athletic Russ Grimm and John Riggins were my favorite even though am steelers fan did buy. a Righins Jersey and got signed at there camp and Riggins was a big fierce running back who just blew past people that team won superbowl with williams first lack qb ever to win it and think was two with Joe Theisman who had sickest ever looking broken leg to this day
