"We gotta play them, but they gotta play us." I just came to that realization last night. I'm no longer intimidated by the remaining schedule. I think the Steelers are capable of beating all of them.
All of them every last one of them. Here is my logic. Remember that year when we went like 10-0 or 11-0 I can't remember well. Ben, who was older at that point, was burnt out. Can you imagine if someone else gave us a 4-2 start, and Ben came in and won 10 straight games. My point is Russ is just getting started he is only going to get better.
Honestly I got them beating the chiefs and sweeping bengals and browns . They’ll split with ravens and will beat eagles. Russ never loses to eagles ever
@@michellepreston9799that was the 2020 season where they were 11-0 after beating the Ravens on Dec 2. When Bud Dupree went down with an ACL in that game I knew the season would not end well. He was having a great season up to that point.
How? They paid him before he played a down. He did the Broncos DIRTY for playing bad and hyping himself up too much. Go back and watch training camp in 2022 it was a circus.

Im a fan of russell wilson since he was in Seattle, and the way he is, he is a great example of a real man the way he handles things in life, his family, his job dude is great person I admire him. He works hard for everything he has and is still doing.
His story about seeing his dad pass from diabetes, which is not a slow way to go, really gave me perspective on Russ. You slowly see your loved one wither away, and he mentioned that was real pressure, which I agree, and that playing in the league is easy comparatively. Going through a traumatic experience like that makes sense why he stays positive and visits the kids in hospitals because he and his siblings were in similar shoes to families that he meets there.
100% authentic and mike tomlin loving and believing in russ speaks volumes to this club he has built. A team full of role models and men of faith. Its the culture, this speaks volumes to what denver is like and sean peyton.

We got you Russell..Steelers nation..we know you better than 90% of the quarterbacks in the league..keep it up man and we gon get a ring 💍 for sure 💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
I remember seeing this guy being interviewed before his draft and how incredibly focused he looked. He was quick with answers, confident, maintained great eye contact and showed determination but humility. Everyone was questioning him because of his height and he would hear none of it. I remember thinking he was one of those guys who’ll never stop fighting for his goals, come what may. I wasn’t surprised when he tore up the league with Seattle, but as great as he is as a player, the coolest thing about Russ is his consistent approach to EVERYTHING. He’s always been this guy. The definition of unwavering class and commitment.
Russ is an awesome man. He handled the disrespect from Denver Team (Sean BULLY Payton) with grace. Not many men especially a Quarterback would have handled it professional like him. He is a real good guy and will continue to shine! I believe he will have great success with Pittsburgh.🖤💛
I’m sad Denver didn’t work out but I’ll continue being a fan of the man forever. He would go to the Denver Children’s hospital every Tuesday and does the same in Pittsburgh now.
Russ hasn't changed, he is just russ and a hard worker. A leader is not the same as the team. The leader holds so much weight. Nothing but love for this guy, and prayers for him and his family. Love the back yard football play Steelers like the Seahawks of 2012! I'm a Seahawks, but watching the Steelers with Russ is so much more fun and you get back to Superbowl! Steelers, here we go.
Steeler Nation is 1,000 % behind you! If Denver didn't want you, we are more than happy to have you here in The 'Burgh. And glad that you decided to come here. And not too unhappy that Denver's paying your salary LMAO0
We love payin his Salary for him NOT play here🧡💙 respectfully he’s a kind soul. But he just didn’t cut it as a Quaterback under Sean Payton, we are much better getting the SAME PRODUCTION paying a rookie QB $250 million dollars LESS

Nice. Big fan. Hated to see him leave seattle. But love where he is even more. Appreciated. I hope you win a few more. And when you do. Go in the hall of fame as a steeler. This is the happiest i've seen him.
To go into the HoF as a Steeler, he will need to play at least 40% of his career there, which would mean about 8 years out of 20 seasons total per bring Pittsburgh multiple SB wins and REQUEST Togo in as a Steeler, which would frankly serve Seattle right. I’ll never forget those boos he received in Seattle.
This is awesome as a Steelers fan, we went from having a questionable quarterback room to having Russell Wilson and a great backup in Justin #steelersnation let's goo!!!!!
Keep in mind this interview must have happened right before the Washington Commanders game. He praises Mike Williams at 21:47 and then at the end of the video he says “We’re gonna win. That’s why I love 2 minute…I love when the games on the line we’re down by 6 and you gotta go win it” 35:12 He then proceeded to win against the Commanders when Steelers were down by 6 with 2 minutes left in the game(27-21) ended (28-27) I can’t believe this dude, God bless him and this Steelers team and I just hope they win it all this year, it’s well deserved. 27:49 mentions how Bobby is a good person for Jayden to follow and that it’ll be a good matchup. This interview definitely happened before the commanders game and that’s just insanely incredible. Here we go Steelers 🖤💛🙏😮💨
I so admire Russ for simply continuing to be himself through all the controversy, criticism and ridicule he's endured these last few years. He refused to 'accommodate', to make himself more acceptable to the fair-weather pundits, who change their pronouncements more often than their underwear, trying to stay ahead of 'the trending wisdom'. It's that world of punditry and fickle fandom where the 'fake', 'corny' and 'superficial' are to be found. They spent two years - right up until last month - trashing Russ. Suddenly, he's their hero, Superbowl bound, comeback player of the year, etc. But they'll flip again, whenever he loses a game or two. Stay steady Russ! You are an AMAZING ROLE MODEL, for believing in yourself and not being enamored of the false idol of Hipness
When Denver releases him I said we would be crazy not to go get him. When he said he would play for the league minimum I knew he wanted to be a Steeler. So I was ecstatic when we got him. And thanks for the discount.

What I like about Russ is that professionalism! This guy was injured but on the sideline still dressed with head set on! Showed me his leadership, work ethic, and hunger to get back out there! He could have been in sweat pants cracking jokes getting paid!
To your point, he could’ve taken the low risk way out and sat on his couch, collected his salary for the year from the Broncos, and waited for an injury to happen. He’d be playing for the Browns right now, and they always liked him! Russ didn’t have to join a team and play this year. He didn’t have to do OTAs or training camp. He could’ve just collected his money. The fact that he didn’t shows what kind of work ethic he has and why Ciara loves the guy’s dirty draws. He’s nothing like the other guys she has been with.

This Lady is Golden! Best NFL interview I've seen in ages. Russell Wilson God Bless You Brother 🙏 🙌
As a Seahawks fan, I love this guy!!
I’m so happy for you Russell!! ❤️👍🏻🙏🏻🏈
Terrific interview!!!!! Thank you Hannah!!!!! Best interview I’ve seen in a long time! Russ is a future Hall of Famer and one heck of a leader!!!!!! Go Steelers!!!!!!!
In a world full of negativity, it’s wonderful and inspiring to see a guy who stays positive thru adversity and blames no one. Love that and inspire to be the same.
Thank you Russ for coming to Pittsburgh. We LOVE having you here
Easy to say at 3-9
3-0
Always liked Russ even back in Seattle.
Now that he is in Pittsburgh im thrilled. We have a Leader, a man of God, and just a overall good dude.
Great interview. I’m a Die Hard Buffalo Bills fans. I won’t switch but listening to this he has made it hard to root against the Steelers. He dropped some Gems 💎 too! Much respect to Russell Wilson Salute!!!!!
Me and my son are Steelers fans and we were just talking when at 11pm the news broke that Russ was signing with the Steelers. We were so excited and we stayed up to 3 am talking lol. Days later after signing PQ, Russ and DeShon..my son is yelling from the bathroom “ we got Justin”…. Now we have Mike Williams …. What a time to be a Steelers fan
If he ain’t the standard, I don’t know what is. Glad u r here Russ! 52 yrs. Steelers fan. Here we go! Again
How can you hate this guy?such a humble and God fearing person. God bless you Mr. Unlimited keep doing great!
Cause most people are not nice. Hence Tebow and the hate. Many resent faith
I still miss him so much as a Seahawk 🫶🏼, I wish the very best for you Russ. From when I was a kid to me being 26 now. You are still one of my favorites and always will be. You brought the trophy to Seattle. Thank you so much Russ. Forever a legend in MY book.
Russ got that look in his eyes. He is on a mission and I’m here for it. Great interview and I wish him well in Pittsburgh. Praying for good things. GOD SPEED KING🙏🏽
Mike T being that strong fatherly kind of coach & the hard nose spirit of this organization gives russ an edge & swag that brings balance to him
"We gotta play them, but they gotta play us." I just came to that realization last night.
@@michellepreston9799To think that it was entirely possible for us to be 9-0. This is a new Steelers team that must be feared
Bro I’m Hyped, after this comment…. Even more hyped. 🤝🏽
Finally! I've been looking for this interview for days. I've been a Russ fan for almost a decade and I've been waiting for this day. I'm obsessed!
Broncos did him dirty . Im proud to have him as a Steeler!!!!❤
He & Tomlin are definitely a much better match!
The perfect piece of shitsburgh for shitsburgh, enjoy.
How? They paid him before he played a down. He did the Broncos DIRTY for playing bad and hyping himself up too much. Go back and watch training camp in 2022 it was a circus.
@@Louis1059NOTHING WAS BAD ABOUT 26 TDS AND 8INT’S ! STOP LISTENING TO OVERRATED BUMS LIKE sean payton ! SMDH
You must have forgotten about his stats from last year, he played perfectly fine @@Louis1059
its so motivational just listening to this man. he could be a coach one day. this is what a leader looks like
Steelers nation believe in you Russ!
Yes we do!
Here We GO Steelers!!! 😁⬛🟨⬛🟨⬛🟨
Nah yall booed him , yall fake too
Ravens Flock believe in you too! Lmao
@@nattyboh1145y’all defense is getting cooked by Russ
What I admire most about Russ is his mental fortitude.
It's like nothing I've ever witnessed.
I never gave up on this guy glad hes a steeler.
Love this Dudes attitude!!
I always admired him in Seattle and rooted for him in his superbowls. Today I root for my Steelers and Russ is part of them. Nobody is stoping my guy
Seahawks Fan Here. Man i miss Russell in Seattle. This dude has been an amazing person. Nothing but love for him. Great role model. #GoHawks.
We should have kept Russ and dumped Pete AND John.
@ yup! For sure!
A world class PRO!! This man loves his life and expresses it through everything he does. How he gets hate for being positive is beyond me. I'm so glad he never let those haters get to him. In Russ We Trust 🙏🏾👍🏽💪🏾🔥💯
Thank You Russell For Coming To The Steeler Nation 🙏🏽👍🏽🏈🎉🏆
Im a fan of russell wilson since he was in Seattle, and the way he is, he is a great example of a real man the way he handles things in life, his family, his job dude is great person I admire him. He works hard for everything he has and is still doing.
Dude has been like this is whole career positive and humble 💯 he’s a HOF stop disrespecting him
His story about seeing his dad pass from diabetes, which is not a slow way to go, really gave me perspective on Russ.
Pray my daughter marries a guy that is like him. Positive, consistent, loving what he does, family oriented and just a nice guy.
Which ironically is most likely why his "detractors" don't like him.
Pure athlete -- was drafted to play in the MLB too...that's why he has all those angles and speeds and touch with the rock. Legend.
100% authentic and mike tomlin loving and believing in russ speaks volumes to this club he has built. A team full of role models and men of faith. Its the culture, this speaks volumes to what denver is like and sean peyton.
Sean looking stupid now!
Hey I’m a Steelers fan too but don’t forget that Russ was on a high horse at that time . He didn’t come to all team workouts his first year , he definitely humbled himself
@@ci6516 thats false, Russ actually had all his teammates go to his house in SD to train 6 months before that season even started, dont try to question this mans work ethic.
Yea, dudes teammates were annoyed he was working out during a flight... Say what you want, but Russ works hard
@@send6prayLol no kidding. I don’t know where people’s heads are thinking they can just put their feelings combined with a lie and comment. There’s video footage of his teammates working out at his house before that season. It’s almost political at this point with Wilson. Dudes a good guy but people don’t want him to be that, it goes against the current “culture” and expectations
Lifelong Steelers fan here. I love this guy. Glad he's a Steeler
That’s my QB1! Glad to have Russ in the Black and Yellow.
It was meant to be. Living in Colorado, I heard so much flack about Russ coming to Pittsburgh. All I tell them know is how "amazing" it is when you have a coach that believes in you.
We got you Russell..Steelers nation..we know you better than 90% of the quarterbacks in the league..keep it up man and we gon get a ring 💍 for sure 💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
I believe he will get that ring as a steeler also. He's a real super guy.
He's one of one. An absolute juggernaut of a human being.
God I pray this man plays for Pittsburgh Steelers for the next 5 years 🙏💪💪
I'd bet on another year or two and then Fields. I believe the big beneficiary from this will be Fields.
He would go to the Denver Children’s hospital every Tuesday and does the same in Pittsburgh now.
been doing it since college, the man watched his dad on his death bed its sad but its great to see him make other peoples lives great.
Perfectly stated! 🖤💛🖤💛
We love payin his Salary for him NOT play here🧡💙 respectfully he’s a kind soul. But he just didn’t cut it as a Quaterback under Sean Payton, we are much better getting the SAME PRODUCTION paying a rookie QB $250 million dollars LESS
Yea keep laughing
Sounds like you’ve always been a Steeler inside. Glad to have you, Russ. Better late than never!
Factz 100>percent....
But if you were a Seattle fan you’ve been saying he was ALWAYS A SEAHAWKS Fan! Lmao stfu
Lifelong Pittsburgh native here. What a great guy. I hope he has a successful career in Pittsburgh. He's already been killing it. Hopefully he can bring the Steelers a long deserved 7th ring. Our city needs that energy!
I agree brotha russ reminds me of Jerome bettis when the rams didn't want him anymore his career was completely rejuvenated coming to Pittsburgh same as russ
Call it band wagon if you want but I literally changed teams because I’m a big fan of this guy. I’m a Steelers fan now. How I want my sons to act, talk and believe in themselves.
welcome
Me too
Same! Wherever Russ goes I follow! 💛🖤
I don't think that makes you bandwagon, I think that makes you faithful to what you believe and feel. Steeler Nation happy to have you and Russ 🖤💛
I'm right with ya. However still pains me to see DK wasted in Seattle. I'm still upset that Seattle is doing so poorly now.
He is one genuine individual and a blessing in today's world!
Not gonna lie, even though he beat my Skins last week, it was genuinely really good to see Wilson back out there with a chip on his shoulder and feeling comfortable.
This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen! Kudos to Russ, his love for adversity and his transparency and Hanah. Thank you, Hannah, for addressing hard issues respectfully.
an amazing interview
Will always miss you Danger Russ, Seattle fans will always root for you. So happy to see him be successful and loved by Pittsburgh. Go Win another ring man☝️
Mannnn I just smile every time I see /hear Hannah Storm because I remember watching her and Ahmad Rashad on Inside Stuff each Saturday morning during years of my childhood
He's a good guy, a smart guy, which is what we need in a Quarterback. It's great to have him with the team.
Totally agree, Ben was a really great qb for a long time, but he was more importantly a terrible person possibly; so, I could never like him as a Steeler. My favorite Steelers’ QB that I ever got to watch has always been Charlie Batch.
@@BrendanBlessington So all those great Steelers players are still friends with him to this day because he's a terrible person?? You never met him, you dont know him, you don't know who potentially lies about him, so just stfu with comments about people you don't know.
I hope once he retires he becomes our qb coach. He seems to love this team as much as we do.
Glad you’re a Steeler Russ! Welcome to the family!
We believe in Russ! Welcome to Pittsburgh brotha! Hoping you stay for a while!
Steeler fans appreciate you! Keep ballin!
We are so blessed to have him as our QB. Thank you Seattle and Denver!
Keep that fire bro because we need you to make a playoff run
Idk bro, I root for a SB every year. No different this year. Let’s go Steelers.
@FR3NZY_ nah its different, wouldn't be right if we don't acknowledge the fact that this team has became more aggressive and will not try to just get to the playoffs but win in it at all costs. Im proud of them
This is what a true belever in the word looks like! Thank you for doing your best out there! Go you! Go, Steelers!
Pittsburgh was the best situation for Russell Wilson. I'm happy that he's succeeding again.
Russ is a class act, I'm glad the Steelers got him. Justin will be better in the future because of Russ. I feel good about our current and future situations with these QBs
35:20 this is the most prophetic comment in this whole interview. Wow, spot on!
Gave me chills
Nice.
The Khan Artist is really living up to his name. 👍
Steelers have something special going on. 🎯🔥
Idk why they hate a God fearing man so much but I’m so glad your our QB! Super Bowl loading…….. #herewego
Cause he’s not ghetto they don’t know how to receive him.
@kob exactly and well said!!!
Beautifully stated!
When Denver releases him I said we would be crazy not to go get him. When he said he would play for the league minimum I knew he wanted to be a Steeler. So I was ecstatic when we got him. And thanks for the discount.
two year extension coming in the offerseason
He is playing for league minimum because the Broncos are still paying his ridiculous salary.
@@nickallen2257it’s still a bargain at that salary currently, considering how much guys like Lawrence and Jones make. Russ has the resume, at least, and is still playing at an elite level.
@@nickallen2257: He still CHOSE Pittsburgh. There were 6-7 other teams interested in Russ, which is why Tomlin made sure he got Russ signed before free agency even started. Russ sought special permission from the Broncos to do this.
No way Russell Wilson should have given ESPN an interview after the way everyone on that network kicked him when he was down
He knows this game. It’s not personal. It’s all about money.
He’s rich he probably didn’t even know fam
Russ proves haters wrong. Beat 7-2 Skins. 3tds last one 2 min. His 32nd game winning drive passing up John Elway. He has thrown a TD in 22 consecutive games. Media doesn't mention such things.
He's the qb, wouldn't be a good look if he let his true feelings get in the way
Hannah is the only person there he would oblige with an interview. She has always been fair and they serve on the V Foundation together.
As a Seattle fan, makes me happy to see him on a team that understands his game, the way he’s playing looks almost identical to how he played in Seattle, run the ball and take shots here and there let him scramble a bit to make a play here and there as well
Always been a underdog. Man of God with great faith and integrity. God, family and football
Hello Russell, I was born in Seattle in 1953, the Seahawks struggled forever until you came to Seattle. You put us on the map, you gave us fun and excitement AND a Super Bowl will we always dreamed of. I miss you, I’m sorry how you were treated, it was wrong and you’re in a better place now. I was depressed when you left but I’m okay now that I’ve become a Pittsburgh Steelers fan!! I wish the absolute best for you and your wonderful family. I wish you great success and I pray you take the Steelers to a Super Bowl LVIII WIN!!! God bless you Russell, I really miss you but what’s more important is you being happy and successful. ❤
We love Russell Wilson .He playing Great Football .!! Thanks for Coming to The Steelers !!
That's my guy.. Been a die hard fan since he came into the league watching him shock everyone else is amazing but I knew it all along💪🏾 time to get another ring my g💯
You’re OUR guy!!!
Always cheering for you Russell and your team. God bless.
My favorite player ever and the reason why I got into watching football more ✊🏾 thank you for inspiring people and being a great person
