I dont like Vegeta period, but I'm glad that you kept his character development at the end of the Buu Saga, and also threw in the "You're no 1" as well as how he needs to ditch his pride in order to become a better version of himself. Reminds me of GT Vegeta (in a good way fyi)

Bro you NEEED to do a what if continuation on this, Vegeta having his Potential Unleashed by the Z-Sword instead of Gohan sounds so fire!! Also I loved how in character Vegeta was for all of this story hopefully part 2 is same!! Reminds me so much of GT Vegeta!

ok, self admitted Vegeta fan here, i need part 2, 3, 4, etc! i always love seeing what ifs where Vegeta goes entirely off the path Goku takes. I can't imagine Vegeta having the dance done for him though so idk if potential unleashed would be in the cards but maybe theres a way.
im falling into some different type of delusion. realized that when goku was saying his goodbyes and stuff that he was surrounded by so many people and that was just beautiful

This was a very wholesome one i would love to see how the rest plays out in a version with a vegita at peace and gohans desires respected by those around him and goku willing to work with those who have supported those around him.

Would Be Fun to see a What if Goku was Brutal Like he would torture his villains and such to the point even vegeta is shocked
Edit : Goku can stay in Supreme Kais world and use as much power as he wants it wont take his time out from going to earth as Supreme Kais Planet is outside of the universe itself plus he has higher authority over Yenma
I bet if Vegeta saw something like that he would probably say:Dear God Kakarot stop! Just stop! This is way too cruel! Even for me. Hes already dead! Why?!

Basically, Cell travels to future Trunks’s timeline instead of the main timeline, realizes that the androids are too far above him, and that there aren’t enough people left alive to close the gap, so he finds that timeline’s version of himself, and they do the namekian merge.
Depending on the guide book, namekian fusion is a 5-10 times boost, so merged imperfect cell could be even stronger then semi-perfect cell, and merged perfect cell would be *WAY* stronger then even super perfect cell was In canon
Wouldnt the Cell of Trunks' timeline still be in the lab as an infant? If memory serves, Cell came out 3 years after Trunks killed 17 and 18

Yeah but screwing with timeline a little bit to make a more interesting story is perfectly viable.
Maybe Dr. Gero focused more on Cell’s development in future Trunks’s timeline for whatever reason which allowed him to awaken earlier or something

If you think about it, this is just a more descriptive version of the what if story on budokai tenkaichi 2
Oh yeah this scenario I remember this now. The only thing questionable about this is everything involving Gohan. If it's because of Gohan's fighting spirit isn't there then he could've easily fix that by using the Time Chamber with Piccolo for a few months or so. 🤔 The Goku vs. Vegeta fight was pretty good. 👍 Hm? Vegeta training with the Z-Sword huh? So if Vegeta gets the Ultimate Form (After breaking the Z-Sword, and freeing Elder Kai.) maybe if this leads into DBS path Gohan goes down the God Ki path. 🤔 I'm curious on how the Z-Fighters will deal with future threats with no Goku around. Anyways another really good one-shot, and looking forward to your next one soon.
