Two mudholes and a luxury cabins? For 3 yrs I worked in the Amazon (Peru, Bolivia, Brazil). Sometimes I couldn't pass sections of "roads" as the ruts reached above the roof of my little Willy, sometimes I had to spend days/week in dirt shacks as my motorbike wouldn't fit in the canoes that crossed the frothing rivers, sometimes I had to walk for days in the mud slashing through the forests as the paths to my destination hardly exist anymore, one time I slept in a Shining Path base camp, one time I slept on top of a pigs bin. But all the times the people is what is still stuck in my head. Amazing people.

Africa is a beautiful continent with more proven resources than any other continent on the globe, and when you see how poor the circumstances are in the infrastructure, and you read stories about the fabulous wealth being spread by the elite in these countries, you understand that they are just plundering their own people and it really hits home to you what that means
that is the reason why the UK and France gave independance to their African colonies - since then, they were able toexploit thse countries without limit, whereas before they had to invest to create infrastructure, and maintain a health system, a network of schools etc etc
It makes you sick really. With all the wealth and in today's age those roads should be paved for the people. Just incredible resilient beautiful people. Just proves how corrupt the world is when you can't even pave a road in a country full of valuable assets.
Wonderful, patient and shining African people. Admiring their zest for life. What a great continent. You are blessed to live it, Noraly. Thank you for the video.
No doubt West Africa has the most challenging roads on the planet. Good luck Noraly and hopes for Alaska to hold up well and no more engine overheating!
Yeah, the rainy season in Guatemala was as challenging as it was rewarding. But I've got a feeling that these wet conditions are going to get worse before they get better.
The drone view of the brown dirt road meandering through the lush green forest was really gourgeous! It must take extreme mental focus and physical endurance for hours of weaving through the deep, muddy, slippery, water-filled ruts. Cell phone service is quite a surprise, and what a reward at the destination! A welcoming ceremony and grandiose accomodations. Another great episode. Thank you Itchy Boots! 🙂👍👍
I feel cellphone towers is the easiest way to connect the coutry, way easier than landlines, of which they might have had, but with much harder maintenance and most likely fewer off.
What amazing, kind people who have really gone out of their way to make you welcome and are so kind and friendly. I love the african people, especially the poorer onesand the women are really beautiful, tough and smart with big hearts. Often those countries we expect to be less friendly are often the biggest surprises and sierra Leone and Liberia are truely a surprise especially as the people have suffered so much wijth war, hunger. God bless these lovely kind people and take care of them.
These episodes in countries like this are without doubt the most interesting and educational for me and I guess many of the watchers. The jungle roads, the enormous problems for the local people that they have to struggle with on a daily basis. The roads during rain season and the difficulties to get from A to B. It is such a difference with the world we are used to, and Noraly handdles these conditions as an experienced local. And her reward at the end is indeed mind blowing: the hike trough the deep jungle and then a lodge that looks like it is of a different world far far away of the African jungle. As if Center Parcs has started a new venue in Liberia ......
Algumas vezes reclamo do meu país, problemas sociais e políticos e acompanhando este vídeo eu reconheço que estou no paraíso, parabéns pelos vídeos sem dúvidas são muito educativo
The rainy season may have added challenges, but it definitely made for an unforgettable episode. The Liberian jungle looks absolutely enchanting, thanks for taking us along on this adventure!
That baby Chimp was such a cutie... it's a shame it's an orphan and won't ever go back to the jungle to be with her own kind.... that Eco lodge looks amazing... a place to hide out for a few days. I'm looking forward to Sunday's video... thanks for sharing and taking us all on your adventure with you. :)
Noraly, with all that is negative in this world you manage to bring out the positive vibes of humanity. It is refreshing to watch you and your encounters with other humans who are so much like all of us after you peel away our layers. Thank you for exposing to all of us there is more love than hate on our blue planet.
What a grand adventure day Noraly! When you switched to Dutch to comment on the mud near the beginning I laughed out loud. 😂 I loved the jungle walk at the end and those amazing cabins and food in the national park. Such a joy to travel with you and I am glad I took time out before going into the studio to paint. Thank you as always for taking us along!
A few days ago, i drove around 1200 km's while driving 40 to 50km/h for over 18 hours. A few places i could drive 80km/h. if i see you driving. You are a badass like me but i do not have terrain like that or i would have been stuck with my rv "camper" in no time there. Lol! Only real ones know how hard it is for you, keep on enjoying your journey! I am currently stuck with my rv without any money to repair. I wish you luck and i will pray for you as i am a long time watcher but never commented. Much love 🤘
I might be tempted to declare this road the worst one Noraly has ever mastered, but then I've thought of all the roads full of the stickiest of sticky mud somewhere in southern Africa she tackled with little savannah if I am not mistaken. whatever: geez, Lady, you are a Beast! Nothing fazes you, really. With your level of patience and skill, why should it? mad respect!
@@Rat-Builder I live here in the city of Liberia, Monrovia. My comment here is showing casing the rural side of Liberia, where some of us have not been the before.

Your adjust and adapt mental skills are remarkable. Your channel needs to be part of a class curriculum for young people. Be safe, be blessed.
Ah yes, your official baptism of African red mud and puddles! Passed with flying colours like a pro! Well done Noraly, I sincerely hope you enjoyed your time deep in the African jungle, there is nothing like it. Blessings all 👋👋🕊
I am a traveller of old and met scores of your compatriots in the Americas who had taken 1 to 2 years off from work and school to get "real world" experience. It is great to see your country's fine tradition continue through you. Although, you may be just a little bit more hard-core. Or perhaps simply Holland Traveller 2.0. Sincerely Yours. Richard
Well done escaping Monrovian traffic that would give chaos a bad name. Loving how strange it is to see only one person on a bike and not a whole family. The amount of stuff they can load on a car is like an olympic sport. Liberia is another amazing adventure , thank you Noraly.
WOW ITCHY BOOTS!! I absolutely loved this video!! That muddy terrain was quite challenging but it looked like you were enjoying it! Your riding skills are quite impressive! No mishaps and you managed to stay clean! It was really funny how you just blasted through between those 2 big trucks that were blocking the roadway! What a score at the end of this journey! Loved the baby chimp and the mysterious jungle hike but most of all your jungle accommodation by the river! Totally awesome!! Totally worth it!! Love what you do Itchy Boots and thanks for sharing these beautiful journeys and experiences!! Cheers from Texas USA ❤❤

Thank you for the Liberia adventure. I worked in Liberia over 33 years ago as an exploration geologist. It was challenging work, but many enjoyable moments. Sadly had to leave due to the civil war. Glad I survived as many Liberian friends did not survive.
So sorry for your loss of long term friends. I spent many years in PNG and had great times and friends to share them...back “home” now it’s a history no one can possibly understand. One day this earth will completely change back to what it was created for and we can be with true friends again.....
What a fantastic route you traveled today, I will never complain about our pot holes again. How you film and produce such amazing videos I just can’t understand. Words fail me. Noraly’s ability to communicate her surroundings and the events of the day is unsurpassed! In my book, Noraly is the Ambassador of Adventure Travel…. Your thoughts and comment is genuine and right.
Seems an impossible feat Noraly but you keep raising the bar with your videos. Such an engaging fulfilling video start to finish. Getting through the mud bogs on a loaded bike without going down is strong testament to your riding skills. Great entertainment by the other riders! Awesome 45 minute hike through jungle and what a surprise. You probably had to pinch yourself to make sure it was real. Thank you so much for the continuing education. Best teacher ever!. Peace ❤❤❤
Todays ride made me homesick for the Ecuadorian jungle of the 1970s. It is soooo familiar! The roads and the trails speak to me of people and places I have left behind, Treasure these things as they will not always be with you. I envy you your health and youth. I also pray for safety for you as you go.
Go Noraly! Keep showing the world the...well....the world!!!! We all need to see the world like this....not in books or the occasional (and usually very sad) news broadcast. You are an anchor in world gone adrift!!! I love what your are doing! Thank you!
That 4x4 you mentioned is a Toyota landcruiser 75 series. Its built for this terrain that's why its just gies through all that obstacles so fast. The military and police and the United nations service in Africa use this vehicle for this reason. Its very reliable and efficient. Even on the dessert.
Great commentary, super photography and editing, fantastic riding proficiency, keen situational awareness, outstanding people skills... I'd be happy just to watch you eat that lunch!
"keen situational awareness" I've read many words from commenters trying to describe Noraly's skills, but hadn't see it put this way. EXCELLENTY put! She is definitely on her A-game when it comes to this.
Noraly is definitely on top of the game! She brings us parts of the world that, otherwise, we might never see or be educated on the geology, geography, weather, and people of the area.
I love your verbal expressions going through the mud. Yikes!! Messy to say the least. You are really deep in the jungle but the scenery is gorgeous. So green. Quite amazing accommodations in the middle of the jungle. You keep bringing us these surprises. Fabulous.
What an incredible adventure. You got stuck next to a big truck and at the end you reached a small paradise accompanied by three Liberian women. There are no words to express my surprise of what you found. Magnificent videos, thanks for sharing them and best to you and Godspeed.
One thing I love about this channel is I get to see places I never would go, and the way Noraly tells the story of the locals makes me want to change my mind but I doubt it would ever turn out as wonderful for me as it does for her.
Those mucky roads, stuck trucks and multiple people on small bikes just making it happen. Wah! You had wondered how people got around on their bikes once the rainy season hit. We're finding out! And the drone shots - 🤩
Thank you so much my sister for showing Africa to the world. this continent is full of minerals but we are living in this appalling conditions. I love that the world is seeing this. Africa needs to unit🌍. 🙏🏿.🏍Thank you again❤ you are amazing🏍
I started watching the Itchy Boots videos because she rides motorcycle. But it is her "can-do" attitude through whatever challenges she faces and her interactions with the people along the way that hooked me.
Who needs a gym when you have a trip on muddy road! After watching your presentation on your drone flying...I really appreciate it all the more. So glad the tires are doing better on mud...a much needed surprise I’m sure. What a slippery mess but so worth the journey to the park. The baby chimp was so adorable....I’m sure he’d be a good passenger wink wink. Your accommodation was out of this world! Such memories muah!
Yea on the drone. I assumed she used an auto tracking feature with her drone shots. But no, all manual control as we learned. She is on her A-game through and through. By the way I always enjoy your comments!
I continue to be impressed with how kind and friendly the people you encounter are. Some of it is a reflection of your attitude and friendly disposition. People all over the world are more alike than different. Cultures may vary, but how we treat one another is universal. Those roads were very challenging. Four years ago, you would have had far more trouble managing, but you plowed through like a pro! You are now officially a pro! 🎉
Engrossing, encouraging and ecological! All that mud and a monkey! As always loved the drone shots for a little perspective, and the people for their openness. Now for the pygmy hippo!!

I repeat, Itchy Boots is first class RUclips content. May The Chalk be with you Noraly.
How this episode doesnt have more likes ? i was not expecting this incredible cabin ! A-MA-ZING
Yea, Folks just forget to hit the like button. Key is 311,000 views in less than 24 hours!
A long awaited bath for Alaska is coming very, very soon 😂
that 3-man bike handler is a legend, absolute mud legend.
Those in the moment... moments are awesome. something u will remember for a lifetime.
Thank you for continuing to allow us into your life. It's such a treat . ben/ michigan
I been waiting to see this journey of our bad road here in Liberia. Love Liberia build Liberia 🇱🇷 ❤️❤️❤️
How do they get the stuck heavy trucks going again? Since you live there, I thought that you might know.
@@Rat-Builder I live here in the city of Liberia, Monrovia. My comment here is showing casing the rural side of Liberia, where some of us have not been the before.
Loved LOVED this episode!!! Mud, adventure, history, a baby chimp, and a very cool walk in the jungle!
Your laughter and joy while in the middle of difficult travel conditions are what makes your channel so incredibly enjoyable. A role model for the rest of the world. Your adjust and adapt mental skills are remarkable. Your channel needs to be part of a class curriculum for young people. Be safe, be blessed.
I have thought the exact same thing. This is what we should be teaching the young generation.
I’m inspired by her braveness ❤
Ah yes, your official baptism of African red mud and puddles! Passed with flying colours like a pro! Well done Noraly, I sincerely hope you enjoyed your time deep in the African jungle, there is nothing like it. Blessings all 👋👋🕊
And she still has time for a trip to England! Well done Noraly, you're a star.
45 min hike after that ride 😱😱 this lady is from another planet much congrats Noraly!!!!
🙏 for showing how beautiful Africa and its people are beautiful and peaceful regardless of the hardship they have to go through
I am a traveller of old and met scores of your compatriots in the Americas who had taken 1 to 2 years off from work and school to get "real world" experience. It is great to see your country's fine tradition continue through you. Although, you may be just a little bit more hard-core. Or perhaps simply Holland Traveller 2.0.
Sincerely Yours.
Richard
Noraly, clearly in your element - having the time of your life! Amazing episode. Liberia is gorgeous. ❤
Noraly’s aerial views are amazing.
Incredible opportunity for NORALY to experience the wonders of life; and the jungle life of Africa. Proud of you NORALY.
ITCHY?? hi. I'm a fellow adventure rider based in Abuja, Nigeria for over 40 yrs now. I'm from Syria 🇸🇾. I just love ur spirit and ur ride videos. Am an avid documentor (is that a word, hehehe?).... mehnnnn, ur guts are out of this world 🌎...👍👍👍🤘🤙👌👌🤝👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Loved this video to bits. Extremely well edited. It's not easy to edit what u've ridden through. Loved the pic pop up of that local rider with the red sunglasses 👓 🤣🤣. Will surely follow ur rides and watch ur videos from now on. BRAVVVVVOOOOOOO ma'am. DA-HOMMS.
Great video! After several years, I will visit Liberia soon to support an aquaculture project so it's great to see how things are now. It's the real Africa!
Good morning Noraly, a new adventure and here I am happy enjoying it with my coffee, enjoying your trips fills my life with colors and happiness, infinite thanks for making us part of your life.
Is it morning? In my country the time is 10:00 PM
@@abdihashi6225 Yes, in Ecuador (South America) the premieres of the videos are at 09:00 am.
Another outstanding place we've never heard of. Thanks for bringing us along. This is way better than National Geography :-)
So true! I've read and watched NATGEO. Even with all the big dollar photographers, film crews, and predetermined planned narratives, Itchy Boots just does it so much better in the raw form. Noraly isn't beholden to any media, corporation funding, etc. We are watching the real Wonder Woman. Peace!
Fueling the memory banks for ever!!!!!!!! Good Job Noraly
I haven’t visited Liberia for many years. My favourite country in Africa.
The aerial footage of green and brown summed up everything as to what you had to undergo....DOFF MY HAT TO YOU Noraly !
I am amazed at how verdant the Liberian countryside is. And how cute are the cabins in the park!
Almost whole of west Africa is green.
The cabins in the park were certainly unexpected! Very nice!
Talk about spirit of adventure!! Noraly you are off the scale. To many superlatives….I’ll just say INCREDIBLE.
I love the forest around . Liberia still has such natural forests
What a fantastic route you traveled today, I will never complain about our pot holes again. How you film and produce such amazing videos I just can’t understand. Words fail me. So many thanks for allowing us to be with you. Main stream broadcast cannot compeat with what you produce for us. We are privileged to watch your adventure unfold, manny many Thankyous xx
You even found time like my comment! Thankyou 😘
I sit in my own home with my two cats and can be in a remote African jungle! World still has few amazing people in it and you are at top of pile xx
Noraly’s ability to communicate her surroundings and the events of the day is unsurpassed! In my book, Noraly is the Ambassador of Adventure Travel…. Your thoughts and comment is genuine and right.
Woman of the century" ❤❤❤ nothing can beats NORALY , one and only 🌏🧑🚀🏍️🌵🏞️-loads of love, SAFE RIDES 🏍️⚠️ - FROM TOKYO 🎌
Peace ❤❤❤
I was born and raised in Liberia, so really enjoyed this 😊
I also was born in Firestone Liberia. Spend my first 18 years there.
@@arjenmulder8660 I’m a Geo boy. Born in Ganta and lived in Garplay 😊
I’m impressed by the Liberian people. Love this episode. I’m from Nigeria
Wow what a great ending totally unexpected to find that beautiful place to sleep in the middle of the jungle
Todays ride made me homesick for the Ecuadorian jungle of the 1970s. It is soooo familiar! The roads and the trails speak to me of people and places I have left behind, Treasure these things as they will not always be with you. I envy you your health and youth. I also pray for safety for you as you go.
Thanks for introducing us to these beautiful places!❤
3:45 wow! Those drone footages are spectacular. Thank you Noraly.🏍️🏍️🏍️
I am loving it as well, it shows the colour contrast which is amazing and how dense is that jungle😮
These videos carry us with you in spirit Noraly, it is breathtaking knowing you are there RIGHT NOW, showing us how each day unfolds. I have no words.
Awesome, and the people are just next level...from the heart. Beautiful. Enjoy. The baby chimp is also next level...I'm lost for words. :)
Wat een droom van een avontuur! Je brengt het op een hele mooie manier in beeld! Zo gaaf om met je mee te reizen vanuit Nederland. Dank je wel 🙏❤
One thing I love about this channel is I get to see places I never would go, and the way Noraly tells the story of the locals makes me want to change my mind but I doubt it would ever turn out as wonderful for me as it does for her.
This roadtrip learned me that the absence of infrastructure is partly a curse and a blessing . Very nice episode this one , thx Noraly !
Wow you visited Liberia thanks so much for sharing
As an African, that was absolutely breathtaking 🔥🔥💯
Those mucky roads, stuck trucks and multiple people on small bikes just making it happen. Wah! You had wondered how people got around on their bikes once the rainy season hit. We're finding out! And the drone shots - 🤩
Thank you so much my sister for showing Africa to the world. this continent is full of minerals but we are living in this appalling conditions. I love that the world is seeing this. Africa needs to unit🌍. 🙏🏿.🏍Thank you again❤ you are amazing🏍
We hope you stay safe. Keep travelling and inspiring people as much as you can.
Thanks for the adventure. I'm Ugandan and I appreciate. Africa is beautiful with it's hinders.
I started watching the Itchy Boots videos because she rides motorcycle. But it is her "can-do" attitude through whatever challenges she faces and her interactions with the people along the way that hooked me.
Yea I found her while researching the 300 Rally. Her videos offer so much more than riding an adventure motorcycle.
What an adventure Noraly, it's an amazing life you have made for yourself.
@@jasonzerbini2375 She is indeed! Thank you for the nice compliment .
I would have fallen down more times tan I could count in that mud, Noraly , you did awesome.
Engrossing, encouraging and ecological! All that mud and a monkey! As always loved the drone shots for a little perspective, and the people for their openness. Now for the pygmy hippo!!
