I can't leave this alone. I love that Salvador is not fully in control of himself. Maybe a little ADHD, but his pacing as if possessed by the song, reflects my own feeling of being haunted by it. And Luci has such a breadth of music, studied, played and composed, and all the extraordinary ways a piano can beguile us, this felt like it was special for her . Her glee at the end, the flexing fingers reaching for a moment slipping into the past that needed to be grasped and retained. I hope this is discovered more by others, inspired to research after her magnificent (new, double!) album, Folklore I & II.
