Thanks for the great video. Our family has camped and fished from the shore at Silver Lake since 1955. Your video showed me areas on Rush Creek that I have never seen before and had always been curious about, especially that little island. I remember the bridge to that island as a kid. They used to sell post cards with the island and bridge back in the day. Wish I could paddle board like you did, but at age 75, that isn't an option anymore.
November can be really variable! There has been years where we've gotten snow in late-September. Last year we got 30 inches of snow in the month of October. But some years I've summited peaks in early/mid-November. So it really just depends. Definitely will be getting colder and shorter days.
@@mammothjoe thanks for replying... ill be heading there next week and would like to do that but i heard there are a lot of fishing hook around there? rush creek that heads to reverse creek or it goes to grant lake?
I didn't see any fishing hooks that I can remember, but a lot of people do fish on that lake and creek. It's Rush Creek where it flows into Silver Lake.
In the creek it varies from a few inches to a few feet deep in places. It can also depend on the time of year; more water flowing earlier in the summer, lower in the fall.
