I feel like people applaud Mads’s acting but forget about Hugh a lot of the time. He is so good at acting prickly yet vulnerable, his body language around people is phenomenal. And those big blue green eyes that are so expressive and express how close he is to people by the amount of eye contact.

Agreed. His character and acting will always be my favourite part of the show
and he always somehow makes you wanna hug him deeply with those puppy eyes of his, I have always loved Hugh's acting sometimes even more than Mads' tbh, he acts out the vulnerability so well, but throughout the show he grows into the role to someone more powerful and I love that!
Mads is amazing, but Dancy as Will is what hooks me into this show. He is just mesmerizing.

Everyone always appreciate and applaud Mads as Hannibal (as they should, he is amazing) but for me Hugh as Will Graham hooked me into this series, his expressions, his character development so tragic yet so captivating like a fallen angel, his beauty and talent were the heart and soul of the series for me.
I can't count on 2 hands how many times I've watched this. It's so tragically stunning.

A few years later, I decided to review Hannibal again and came across your video. This song, how could I forget about such a beautiful song like this? I remembered the time when I was completely immersed in the fandom of Hannibal and other series. What a wonderful time it was, so many memories with this song, God, so many memories. Where are all these people from all these fandoms and tumblr now? Where is that wonderful time when people from different countries communicated together, lived as one family in fandoms? Where is all this? I miss that time so much...were those the last years when they created really good series that were made for the sake of art, and not for the sake of commerce?

God this song was stuck in my head for so long. I literally spent hours going through my youtube history to find out the fanvid I watched that had this song cos I could not remember the lyrics at all. All I knew was that it was a ship vid and I knew the tune of the song and that it was sad. Finally it occured to me that most of the sad songs fmv I knew were hannibal vids so instead of searching my history reverse chronologically, I typed in hannibal and it finally came up. Thank you for this.
