Very nice to see the new Piccadilly Line train in Austria and being delivered to the UK via the Channel Tunnel. With more to be delivered once built and to enter service from next year.
I also heard that the Bakerloo Line is also in need of getting brand new tube trains. But the new Piccadilly Line train does look really nice. Can’t wait to see it in service from next year.
afaik both the UK and Austria use 1435 mm gauge, though the tube also seems to have a 2140 mm gauge as well. It is possible to modify a stock’s gauge by changing the entire bogie.

When the first 24 stock arrived into the UK, before it even got into the depot it was graffitied! 😂
Can't wait to see this drag in the UK soon! 😃
That's quite a rare sight, isn't it?
@@Matthew_Trainspotter I certainly didn’t expect to see London underground stock while waiting for my commuter train!
How would that even work because doesn’t the uk and Austria have different gauge

can't they load them instead of running them on their wheels?
@@vladmihai306 I guess the wheels have to be maintained (swapped) regularly anyway
