Literally was just talking with a client about making a backlit picture frame for medium format slides! Haven’t yet checked if thats something that exists, saw this video first !
Now what if it spins like a lazy susan of incredible photography..?! Also Reminds me of those fluorescent light panel covers that had photos on them , seen in old delis or donut shops, but you did a far superior job of it, much higher fidelity indeed! 🎉 cool and crafty, i ❤ it!
thought about setting up a praxinoscope style thing. Like shoot a stop motion 4x5 scene on slide film and create a Ferris wheel rotating projector. 4x5 motion picture would be cool
@ 😍😍😍 I was really hoping someone would make a video showing how to mod it! I’ve had that camera for a while but the (written) instructions I’ve found are not so great, tbh…
Super lampe j'adore, bravo! )
I know it's not on film and all of that but you could totally do this with getting color transparency's printed at somewhere like Fedex with your favorite scanned images.
Do you have experience how quick slide film fades due to heat or constant light ? And would it be not so fancy but more accessible and cheaper to use medium format film (in another type of lamp) or print it on a laser printer onto slides and use these instead ?
I could get behind a Bad Crafts series
My new series
Same.
This would be cool with some sort of panorama shot that consisted of several positives. Though, that might only work when looking from the inside.
Ooh! I like that idea!
This is gorgeous!!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Love it :)
This is a dope approach to a lithophane! Keep up the "Bad Crafts"!!
😛😛😛😛🥳

Rotating would have been sick!!!!
you could try Xeroxing coloured prints on to clear acetate to your required size and put them on a lamp if you dont do 4x5
Could do that :)
so cool
😻🫶🏼
i love lamp.
ive thought about doing this with all of my rolls sitting in the garage. Maybe someday!
Good stuff man.
Do it
Ah man, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while too!
Do it!!!!

That is dope … love that idea
Since you're photographing the ipad screen, would be possible to invert the images on the ipad and shoot with negative film?
Love it man! Too cool. What if they could be combined and run through that moving underwater kida toy. Instant analog slideshow!
lol 10/10
Next I want a tutorial on how to mod that Holga!
Working on it.

@@landsurveysfilms 😊I’ll see what I can do
Kool idea! Did you make several for holiday gifts? Happy holidays, see you next year!
I totally should have!
We need an all Jason lamp
Haha I’ll let you try that one. ☝️

I mean sure but not the same lol

We shall see what happens 🤷
I’m not sure 🤔
Pro tip: Plexiglass has a blue film that needs to be removed. I was so confused why my hardware store only had blue plexiglass. *face palm*
lol 😝
Would be cool to see this wirh negative film. But I feel like that might take someone who does this professionally. Some sort of negative lamp pro
lol lamp pro
Great project but couldn't you just have your images sent to be printed on a clear film rather than exposing sheet film off an Ipad? 🤷🏽♂
I mean, I guess but wouldn’t of been the same thing I’ve used transparent papers like that and they don’t really have the same vibrantcy
