The pre-chorus on this one is freaking awesome.
This is one of the greatest opening riffs in Modern Power Metal.
I rather like old one,like Helloween, and Maidens which they are pioneers for such kind of style ,but I like this song because her verse is so punkish...

Can't even begin to count how many times I and whoever was sitting next to me listened to Sonic Firestorm and Inhuman Rampage on the bus ride to school circa 2006-2008. Not that whoever was sitting next to me had a choice 🤣
Extreme Power Metal and Sonic Firestorm are my two favourite DragonForce albums
Both are top tier for sure.
Funny. Those two are my bottom tiers. My favorites are Ultra Beatdown and Maximum Overload. (Don’t be mad at me. I love Dragonforce as much all of you do)

Those two albums though are great, Ultra Beatdown has some great tracks like Reason to Live and Maximum Overload has Symphony of the Night.
If I had a nickel for everytime DragonForce wrote a song about Castlevania, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

@@renegadesofanarchy289 technically the 2010 is the 2004 version. The album was never remastered. Only Valley of the dammed was remastered
@@yukiimarainfinite True, but Cry of the Brave was originally the Japanese only bonus track. Probably had sold enough by 2010 that Japanese CD manufacturers no longer needed to benefit from local sales.

Through the Fire and the flames could have also been an Underrated song if it weren't for being on Guitar Hero. "Once in a lifetime" would have been a better fit for Guitar Hero in my opinion.
