- Bolt! Here's a perfectly harmless movie that has some fun spots but is ultimately not all that amazing that you want to tell everyone you know to watch it. But it has Miley Cyrus, John Travolta, a LOT of Inspector Gadget ripoffs, and plenty of sins.

What is his problem with company logos! If he likes them, he "sins" them. If he hates them he "sins" them. It has almost nothing to to do with the actual movie! It's like getting worked up about the title page of a book or the book cover. Get over it or at least start only marking the one's you hate!

"Kid can realize that a dog that looks exactly like their dog, isnt their dog in 5 seconds cliche" I raised my dog since she was three months old. Her mannerisms are very different from other dogs. If penny loves that dog as much as she seems to during this display. Yes. She would be able to tell that it's a different dog that quickly. Even just by how that dog runs out of the kennel

Really wasn't that ruined a lot of his points in this were pretty dumb and a lot seemed like there was no thought behind them just pointing out whatever first came to mind, a disappointing departure from his normal content.

but can we talk about how there was absolutely no reason for them to be so pissed about the boom mike? besides not being necessary in the first place, a boom mike, of all things, is by far one of the easiest things to edit out, and since it was up against a sky, that makes it even easier.
He was pissed that the dog might see the mike (which makes no sense, camera POV is not the dog's POV)

I had such a strong connection to this movie as a kid. it was what made me realize I wanted a dog! And my dog (my first and only) looks a bit like Bolt! Needless to say, this movie will forever hold a special place in my heart
man I remember pandering my parents to get a dog that looked like Bolt. we got a jack Russell a few years later but she's perfect. and absolutely same with the movie being preserved in my heart

Maybe it's just that it's my favorite movie, and I love you CinemaSins, but there is ONE sin that absolutely bothers me despite being very small. The reason Penny can tell so quickly that the replacement isn't bolt is because he's being commanded with a clicker. I'd say pointing this out is petty, but you ARE CinemaSins, so I'm sure you can understand the need to do so.
Also, sometimes people know there pets that well. And the pet is just that expressive that a different animal is obvious. (Thinking mostly of my first dog and my two cats here....)

The cats heard him barking because cats hear what they want to hear when they want to hear it. Had they cared they would have heard English.
Either that, or it was a 'kids movie' censorship type of deal. Think about it, WHY 'WOULD' bolt go from being able to speak in a language that we as the audience can hear/understand, then bark for a few seconds, then go back to a language that we as the audience can hear/understand? Answer (in my perspective)? Considering that this is a kids movie, I would think that it's swearing censorship. Why I think that is dure to how bolts line is worded leading up to us (the audience) hearing bolt barking leads me to believe that he was swearing, and the barking is a metaphor for the beep censor that you would hear on tv when someone swears.

What exactly could you make a sequel from? This is one of those stories where you pretty much can't make a sequel. If this had been an actual superhero dog movie, then maybe. But there's no possible conflict that wouldn't just be a rehash of the "they're lost and need to get home" thing.
Also, why did the animal-control specialist even took Bolt and Mittens? They are tied on a leash and Bolt at least has a collar. That should indicate that they're not stray

My dog ran away and was caught by animal control and taken to a shelter, she had a collar, they called us after they brought her there and charged us $70 to get her out. We almost couldn’t afford it.

In the movie Penny asks Bolt if he's hungry and Bolt doesn't question it or anything, but later on when Bolt becomes hungry he all a sudden doesn't know what 'Hunger' is

I think they were sinning the editor's failure to use his headphones in an editing room that's so poorly insulated that the tape can be heard in a trailer on the other side of the soundstage.
Pretty sure it's a self-aware "sin," but the point might be that he's playing the same clip and really not adjusting it whatsoever, like he's not even adjusting any of the frames, or color, or sound. Granted, they don't have much time to show much, but they could have done something to make it look like he's actually doing something with it. Although I have watched clips I was working on an insane number of times just to check that it really DOES match what I was going for, so they are probably being nit-picky on that one.
He dosent edit them himself. He has paid edditors.

That's a movie of my childhood. The first time I've watched it when I was approximately 7-10 years old, and it was on a CD disc and a videoplayer. And the disc was partially corrupt, so the last 10-15 minutes were unaccessable. Later on I've stumbled upon this movie on TV, and finally got a chance to watch it to the end.
I loved this movie! I remember getting emotional when I learned Mittens's backstory. How could her former owners be so cruel?! And at the part where Bolt was saving Penny from the fire. I definitely cried my eyes out when Bolt was going to stay with Penny and die with her in that burning building! What a loyal dog!😢

For the Penny and Bolt both getting the same tv show job, how I grew up with the movie I was told that Penny was recruited and they chose Bolt for the show seperately. The begining scene of Penny choosing Bolt was just a flashback in the tv show. That's why it cut to them being older and on the hunt for Penny's dad. At least that's what my parents always explained it to me
