Thank you for this tutorial. So many out there saying their video is a tutorial and all they are doing is a time lapse video with only music in the background and no instruction. I appreciate you for taking the time and actually giving a real tutorial that doesn't drag on. Great work. Glad I finally found you on you tube. Thanks again for your time. Beautiful work. Are the same techniques used on veg tan leather. I have reached a decent stage making hand cut/stiched and dyed leather goods. I am at an intermediate stage cutting and bevelling patterns and I think combining leather burning into these patterns would look and feel great. Leather does burn and shade at a lot lower temperature and you need to constantly keep casing it. I think its going to be interesting
I looked through several videos and yayyyy, I found one that I could watch and listen throughout the whole video. Your voice is easy on the ears, you explain so well and your work is amazing. I do have one question ..... I use a Razertip and wonder if you know which tips I should use to get the same effects? Thank you so much.
I did wood burning years ago and have just started again , I also just bought a Dremel with all the attachments and hubby bought my all the engraving attachments for my birthday now if I can just catch up with y housework & chores and can really get stuck into it hahaha your lion face is fantastic by the way , thanks for the video. Regards ,Sydney Australia.
Hi, Jack. I had asked on a previous video about your rotary drill and flex hose. I found both and am excited to try them. However, I was wondering which bit you are using. I tried an engraving bit, but it's just too small. Yours looks like a carving bit. Could you please share what bit you are using? If it's a Dremmel and you still have the package, there should be a number on it. Thank you so much. LOVE your videos and you have been such a help to me. I'm just starting with pyrography.
Can't wait to see the video. Yours are so informative for a beginner. Am in a bit of a dilemma. Working on a leopard which I have to turn in Saturday to enter in the State Fair. Have tried 2 bits so far and neither works very good - one too big, one too small. Don't want to spoil the video, but if you could recommend one for my leopard I would really appreciate it.
Hello Jack. I am very new to pyrography and found this video extremely helpful. Thanks so much for all your efforts. I am looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials. I have trouble with the sped up time-lapse videos so I appreciate you showing us all how you do it before the time-lapse. Kudos!

Could you show us a close-up of the burs you are using and maybe the numbers or names of them if you have that info. Was the first one a diamond cylinder? Loved the video!
Thanks so much for this! It was exactly what I needed to see on how to do hair/fur on an animal. Currently working on my first animal price (white tail deer) and was at a loss for how to do the fur. THANK YOU!!!!!
I only own the standard one that came with it. There are others on the website though. You can check it out if you want. Just type mm Newman hot tools inc into Google

Haha. Yeah finding time for the boring stuff is difficult. Wish I also didn't have to do it.
You have so much patience. That is crazy good.. I'm a beginner I started burning not long ago I'm not even close to being that good yet lol
YOUR WORK IS AMAZING
Interesting...using the rotary tool to create the highlights.
Are you doing an up and down motion?? I was asked to a burn of a short haired dog. This is very helpful.

Kathy McDaniel hi Kathy. I'll make a video on the bits next. The main one I use actually looks like a drill bit but I'll go into more depth in a video
