      @@SimulatorTech I take the chance to ask if the case is really that "shine-through". I like this keyboard, but the case loses a lot of the class and clean look of the 3098B. I can't decide between a 3098B or this one....

    • @SimulatorTech
      @SimulatorTech  Год назад

      It's reasonably shine through. I would compare it to the gas67 since it's transparent enough to show the rgb without taking away too much of the aesthetic. I would also consider the fact that it's a top mount and the 3098b is a tray mount. Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the useful review. A future comparison with other 1800 keebs, like Epomaker TH96, Ajazz AK996, and Keychron Q5.. may be of interest to people looking for good keyboards for the office. Personally I am looking for quiet sound and good typing experience.

    Only issue with this keyboard is that i can not find compatible keycap sets. Its modified 1800 layout which means two key ( ALT and FN ) is kind of bigger in this layout and almost no keycap set include these.

    can you do a tutorial on how to add the foam and tape please?

    • @SimulatorTech
      @SimulatorTech  Год назад

      I don't have time in my schedule to do a full video about that, but plenty of other RUclipsrs have done videos on foam and tape mods. If you're talking specifically about modding the akko pc98b plus, then it's the same as any other board except that you can't really add foam due to the silicone in the case

    • @SimulatorTech
      @SimulatorTech  Год назад

      If you flip your keyboard over, there is a crack along the bottom of the case. You can use your nails you pry the clips open or if you can't then use a flathead screwdriver to open it.

    Stupid question :
    is this good for fps games ?

    • @SimulatorTech
      @SimulatorTech  Год назад +1

      The switches are long pole so they'll bottom out faster leading to a faster feeling keyboard. It's not specifically catered toward gamers tho. The best keyboard for fps games is the one you enjoy using the most tbh unless you're playing at the absolute highest level
