These students might be from science section preparing for IIT. The paper was tough for commerce and Arts students as they are not IIT aspirants, whole year we are told to focus on NCERT as base book and also that 75% of paper will be from this book only but after giving the paper, I realized the paper was not NCERT based. If CBSE wants to increase the difficulty level of paper, then they should tell us to prepare accordingly because giving shocks like these lead us nowhere, it only stress us even more.

Which region's paper were attempted by these students? They say "only 1 graph based question".... I had 2 graph based questions and that also tricky and twisted ones.....and probability was the most tricky portion in the paper!

today's paper was tougher than previous year paper. In pervise one u could easily pick up the hard problems but this year paper it was tough to pick up the easy one!!! I was happyyy while hearing the girls review about the paper but atlast a devil came and said the paper was tough and he is hoping marks above 90!!! :(

This year all Physics, Mathematics exam of CBSE 10+2 were tricky beyond the NCERT normal questions. It is injustice to the mediocre students and injustice with students who are studying in rural area schools where there is no qualified and experienced teachers. No tuitions. Paper setters set the paper for IIT aspirants.
Are yaar ma toh 90+ ka socha tha par ab 80+ hi aayenga yes it was literally very tough those integration question were too long but I left only one question in sec b and 2 in sec C and moreover at our centre THE wall clock wasn't there so I couldn't managed time and all in all I hope I may get 80+ god help P.S. I also prepared for iit and it was too difficult for me too
I was able to complete the paper 20 minutes before and with all questions correctly solved. So, those who say that the paper was hard, It was their own adult for the fact that were not prepared well enough. And expecting the paper to be easy is such bullshit, who thinks before preparing, "Han paper asaan ana chahiye toh mushlkil chize ni padhta"? You Study, You get marks end of story.
expecting paper easy does not mean they thought they will get 1+1 in paper it meant that they expected it to revolve around ncert people like me who did not go to coaching or stuff found it little difficult to solve the paper because not even single question of 4 marks from my paper belonged to my ncert
Well, I didn't take any other coaching for boards, I also solved only NCERT. It's not about learning the questions, that one can only solve questions from NCERT it is about learning the essence of the topic.

Bill GOLDBERG boards is not the correct exam to find your true talent. IIT is(for engineering). even though IITs and NITs these days are following the stupid 75% marks in 12th rule, which is a huge disappointment.

The problem is that most schools emphasize on memorizing formulae and solving instead of making the students conceptually clear. Once clear, students can themselves solve irrespective of where the questions come from.
Ya but if u think of it 29 questions require time .. But if we start to think about every question and making a plan to solve it ... 5-6 min will get wasted just on thinking and thats pretty ironical to such a lengthy exam .
I solved past 8 years question papers from 2008 to 2015.. was quite happy as i was able to solve more than 95%,as all questions were NCERT based or easy.. hence i wen to give exam with free mind..... And then what i realised ..😂😠😬😡😢😢😢😢😨.....you might very well know...... now i am just expecting 80-85 😱😩😭😭😭😤😔 BROKEN HEART,BROKEN DREAM TO GET 90+ % IN CBSE 2016😳
Do you want CBSE to stick just to NCERT? Stop spoonfeeding students and let them use their brain. Studying maths is useless if you can't get into the application domain. Last year, my batchmates were wailing about tough questions and all got 95+. Newer generations are smarter and the difficulty level is expected to go high. Studies are not easy when compared to our parent's era. So we should expect things to be more competitive and application oriented in future.
