I was in Austin for the game! And it was unreal! But in the stands, everyone was talking about our punter asking questions. It helped their punter had a few poor punts. But Brett was BOOMIN EM! Everytime! Being a defensive game a group of about 40-50 fans close by were like who would have thought punters would both win/lose the game? This game it felt like that was definitely the case! Obviously our defense turnovers and timely scores helped but Brett is about to be the number one punter in nfl
@@matthewtimcho448he was a huge part of that win and a big time impact player. His punt placement and hang time is even more impactful than his punt distance. Without the placement and hang time, a long punt is a liability
I love these guys. Always followed georgia the best I could wherever I was. Once uga was playing LSU. Both ranked, big deal kind of game. Fan bases were rabid talking smack. I had an opportunity for a 3 day rest and recovery deal in Baghdad and did everything I could to get on it as where it was had satellite TV. The day before I get scrubbed from R&R because we were going to invade sadr city, aadimiyah and khadimiyah. We get into a rolling gunfight that went from the Haifa street to the euphrates. Smoked a ton of terrorists (Iranian SF and proxies) and they evacuated they're wounded and dead to khadimiyah hospital. My small unit was tasked with taking the hospital and finishing off the bad guys. So we had to clear a giant hospital with no elevators, limited power, flickering lights, dead bodies stacked in the halls...real challenging environment. The entire time I am pissed off about the game, my R&R, dear John letter etc. Anywho, I finally make it to the 10th or 11th floor and I kick in these huge double doors that connect the main hall to the stairway. As soon as my boot goes through a bad guy dumps his AK into me, the door, the ceiling. Just a general death blossom. Getting hit in the plate would be like mullet man himself full running drop kick to the chest. So I spin around and fall down the initial 5 stairs. I said earlier that they were dumping bodies and waste everywhere... so I land in a pile of dead guys, iv bags, bed pans and yes...used needles. I pop up and me and 2 of my buddies cleared the floor when my buddy points at me and said I should get that checked out. Looked down and bam! 15 used iraqi AIDS needles stuck in my legs and flanks. Get on the radio to report and found out I had a Blackhawk inbound to evacuate me all we needed to do was get to the roof. I will skip the barricades and defensive points they set up on the roof but made it and flying out. Land in the green zone and I am stoked. My hospital room had a TV and yes...they had my dawgs on it. The doc was a Canadian captain and he said he never had a patient come from action and ask about a football game, TV situation, cable situation etc. I was 23 on my 4th tour with the 82nd Airborne, when he found that out, I was treated like royalty. Every nurse and doc that came into my bay shouted Go Dawgs. So Italians, Canadians, Germans... all of NATO learned about the dawgs for 4 days. I felt bad though because there was a kid a few beds down from 1st infantry division that was from Florida!
Y'all!! My husband and I were at the Texas game with the Dawg Nation group. We had such a great time and that game was THE BEST!!! We are so proud of you and all the team! What a dang statement!! Let's keep it going!! I lost my voice screaming for you!! We have season tickets and will see you soon!! Go Dawgs!!
Tate, I know y’all are using split screen but put some space between you guys. Sometimes looks like you’re sitting in Brett’s lap. Good for teammates to be close but cmon, haha. Enjoy the show…
As a lifeling UGA fan tired of the spotlight on traffic violations in Athens can you please not share about anything re. road rage or speeding 😅 some awareness please!
Brett is the best punter in the country! Tate, can’t wait to get you back in action big un!! Go Dawgs
