You're so talented. I learn so much wihh you. I appreciate how you take the time to teach us step by step how to make these patterns. Most RUclipsrs don't like teaching people because they can't monetize what they do.
Just stumbled across your channel! And i’m really impressed and learned a lot more about pattern making! I’m a fashion design major student right now, and it’s definitely try that you dont learn everything in the classroom/lab thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills! :)
Oooo! What a perfect channel to find! I am searching how to alter patterns to wide-leg, and THIS makes me want to try to slash up my skinny jeans and insert contrasting fabric in the negative spaces. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful wedding! And we had the same wedding colors blue and white! Your pants are amazing and I can't wait to make me a few pairs! God bless you!🥂👍😁💯❤👌
Fresh pattern tutorial up on the channel guys. It's your fave, a pattern tutorial. I show how to make wide leg palazzo pants patterns. Enjoy ^.^ *Watch the Sewing Tutorial* • ruclips.net/video/vC3IYMgg_Ts/видео.html *Support me on Patreon* • www.patreon.com/kimdave
Only 40 seconds in, (yes, I realize I'm a full year late), but MUST say what an absolutely STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL BRIDE you were!!! 😍 Came here for a pants to tutorial and was pleasantly left breathless by your wedding photos-you're so lovely!! Haha, sorry, I had to! ...Now on to the sewing!!
You're a lifesaver, I've been trying to make a similar kind of pants (cosplay related) but I could never find the right tutorial for ones that are wide but with this one I think i can finally make them!
awwwn wish I saw this sooner. I just made my first successful straight leg trouser yesterday. lol, every other one I have attempted always had one issue or the other.
Thanks so much Kim I have really learnt a lot from you from making patterns to sewing items for myself. I can’t wait to come to London so I can attend one of your sewing classes😊😊. Thanks once again and Gods blessings!. Love from Vienna Austria

Firstly thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and making this video - it is great! Am wanting to make palazzo style pants and found this most helpful. I would like the legs of the pants to be wide enough to fit my whole body in one pant leg (saw a video where you can wear the palazzo style pant as a dress) using a 4-way stretch fabric. My hips are about 35" so how wide would you suggest I need to make each pant leg taking into account I have a fabric with about 30% stretch. My guess was 34" for a close fit and 32" for a very snug fit - if you think more ease is necessary please let me know. . Any guidance you may offer is greatly appreciated!
This is amazing!! I have been looking and searching for pants like these and I have finally decided I wanted to make some eventually! This is so so helpful!! Thank you!
Thank you so very much. I understand the pattern making process so much better through watching your tutorials. I've watched a lot of tutorials for pattern making, but somehow you're able to convey the meaning (or reason) behind the process so much better. It finally clicked and I understand. I am so grateful. P.S. Congratulations on your marriage! :)
Very detailed and easy to follow video. I loved it!!! Keep them coming. My problem is with deciding on the amount of fabric yo buy. Can you guide me on a technique that I can use please?
More than likely you will need 60" wide fabric and double the length of your waist to ankle measurement (for front and back pieces) + hems + enough for the waistbands to run the width of the fabric or the length of the fabric + pockets.
Woow!! Kimmy dear, thank you for this wonderful tutorial, it came at the right time. Once again, Congratulations to you and George.Much love, God bless you.. 💕😍😘
Hi Kim😀 I have a little confusion in pants. As you said back is 2cm is extra than the front. So do we have to add extra ease in the back apart from that 2 cm or ease is included in that??? Please tell.
Hello Kim. I love your tutos soooo much! They're so helpful. I have 1 question. I have a straight pants pattern (I did it myself). I wanna alter it so that I can have a new wide leg/palazzo pants pattern. Can I split it right from the grainline instead of drawing new lines like you did or splitting from the dart line? I don't want extremely wide pants. So only 1 splitting should help me i guess. That's why i thought splitting the grainline should work. What would you recommend?
Hi,for your t shirt can you do other print design or the African woman is only what you can print, because I would like to do something in that format but another head print
Very nice! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. And again, congratulations, love! P.S. Where did you get your cutting board I would like to have one like it?
Hello, Priscilla, how are you. Congratulations for your videos, are excellent. I really want to know where I can find this ruler. I've looked here in Brazil, but I can't find, just those simpler. Pass me the link if you know where they sell. Thanks

verry nice pattern but are you going to keep the waist darts in front or are you just going to do them "disappear"?
As mentioned in the video, I plan on pleating them into the waistband when I sew
These are just so classy and classic. I really need a pair xx
