If they finally do a wonder woman movie, she should play the lead. Pretty, but not trashy, yet intelligent, but not boring.
Me encanta Hayley, es una gran actriz que irradia frescura, inteligencia, belleza, talento... y además es tán camaleónica !! es creíble en cualquier papel !!
I was actually surprised at how much preetier she is than in the film. I loved the film i thought it was great. I'm one who loves historical films and the performances were amazing. Big well done !!! But i have to say i was a bit annoyed at some of the scenes cause georgiana is such a loveable character so it was difficult for me to like bess in spite of it all !! I think had they not done that bedroom scene it would of been easier to sympathise with bess but that scene is just soooooo over tbe top and so horrible for a wife to have to find out that way even in those days surely!!! I mean seriously even i wanted to strangle bess after seeing that scene!!! Also she was just so brazen about the whole thing too i mean she doesnt really express that much guilt or shame about it. It was as if she didnt even think she did anything wrong. I think thats the main reason why i found it hard to sympathise with her was her lack of shame towards her friend.
As beautiful as Hayley Atwell and Keira Knightley are (and I'm pretty much in love with both of them), there exists the unusual possibility that neither of them is as pretty as the real women they portray in "The Duchess". For comparison check out Thomas Gainsborough's portrait of Georgiana (or many others--Georgiana was something of a renowned beauty of her time), and Sir Joshua Reynolds' portrait of the young Bess Foster. Granted, 18th century aristocratic portraits (pre-photography) were often somewhat idealized, but still....
Strangely enough I rarely -if ever- find the people in such portraits truly beautiful. I don't know if it's the style, the painter's interpretation of their beauty/ideal beauty (like we photoshop now)...
