I had a Ross Compressor in the 80s, that I bought from a guitarist friend for $20. Somehow I lost it along the way. A couple of years ago I saw a listing on Reverb asking $500 for one, and after looking at more listings I saw prices from 500-900. Boy, I regretted losing it. It was a great sounding compressor, might give it a try, at this much more affordable price point.
Awesome demo 😎🤘🏻🎸 my personal favorites are the distortion, fuzz, and chorus. I remember seeing Ross pedals on a few websites and there were positive feedback on these pedals. That pretty cool that they resurrected the Ross pedals brand. I hope they do the same for digitech pedals.
If what I saw at NAMM meant what I think it did, then it looks like Tom Cram and co are bringing DIgitech back (or have acquired the name at least, but the booth had all the pedals we know and love)
@@davedixon2167 yeah I’ve heard about that too. That would be awesome to see. I still have my digitech bass driver and it is one of my most rarest musical gear.
They sound good and look cute, but yet another range of $200 clones of the ‘classics’ with the usual kind of mods? also kind of yawn if I’m being totally honest. Loved hearing you jam out though.
I didnt hear much that I liked personally. Still a great demo and info I loved to hear! As always thanks guys. Keep pumping out the great content.
"Don't bore us!" quote had me in stitches.. nice tones, great work thanx :)
Literally emailed Ross Electronics today to ask if these were bass compatible!!! So stoked to see you doing a demo
Great sounds all around. The distortion sounds especially good.
The Fuzz, Compressor & Chorus sounds nice

What version of "Yesterday" is that? Sounds like Fat Mike singing but can't be sure.
That cliff burton tone you got has a lot of potential… I’d blend it with a Sansamp DI in parallel. This could be the distortion I’m looking for…

I was wondering if that les paul jr. still sees some play, looks like it does
The distortion probably is the best
What tune is he playing with from 6:32?
Are those pedals made by Raws the Baws?
Vintage love
You spelled Boss wrong. Jk these seem nice. Loving the Iceman tones
No flanger..? thats the one we want
WHY DID I EVER SELL THESE WAY BACK WHEN?!?!

We do have a Teespring store; it's usually got a strip of shirts down with the description, but I'm not sure where it's gone here.
Just announced today that JHS will not continue making Ross Pedals. So, enjoy?

Now we know they aren´t good on bass.
