Its much harder than you think, I develop games and software with a small team… Expect to not sleep for months and months.

The thing i learn when it comes to making a game is listing the stuff/what type of game is gonna be and what gonna be it and what are the controls like crouching, running, inventory ETC

Idea: a game that takes place in a large school with many halls, rooms, and obstacles the goal is to do assignments from your teacher for example vocabulary and math with special supplies like a pencil gun that shoots whatever you draw scissors as a melee and a eraser that you can deploy as a shield you must use those supplies to defeat bosses and enemies that try to stop you from doing your work

aspiring game developer here, which language is the best for coding games? i dont seem to know the difference other than some being hard to learn
It depends, for 2d most likely python without a engine, and with an engine, just whatever language it uses, but for 3D, if you are just learning, definitely c# with unity, but at a more intermediate understanding of game dev, c++ I think for unreal engine. It’s just my opinion tho
