This story... heavily reminds me of a previous one I read that was much more fleshed out. Some parts of it are so similar that I'm wondering if this one was more then a little inspired. It was named "Peace Seeker" and I think AggroSquirrel has narrated it before.
Hi Agro and community, I have followed you since HFY 600 and I would like your help. Recently i remembered 2 stories I just can't seem to find. The first is of a human corporate that goes to inspect a mining operation in asteriods and that corporation produced beings that were supposed to not be conscious, for forced work in the mines. But in his visit, one of the miners asks the corpo if he is there to help them, but asked with the innocence of a child and that broke the corpo who then leaked files on that corporation and ultimately saved the miners by doing that. He ends the story saying something among the lines of: "I remembered his eyes, that plea, that "are you here to help?" said with the innocence of a child. Yes. I am here now..." as he pressed the send button. The other one is a rather short story of a human entering a bar and a gorilla like alien tries to pick up a fight with him since he looks tiny but doesnt take into account density and gets demolished. Im pretty sure these stories radicate around hfy 600 and 1000 but i cant find them. If you have any information on these stories, I will be forever grateful. Thank you.
Then, Mary Chong handed him the bong and said, " this strain was developed by my great, great, great, great grandfather, Tommy. Tell your people it was the pot that brought peace and friendship to the Galaxy". Then they tolked up.
Simply being 800 years old would make something as fragile as a clay pot extremely valuable. Having been in the same family for 800 years makes it even more so.
Damn it Agro! Are you telling the onion ninjas how to find me? LOL!
I love that story, and your telling of it is exquisite. Thank you so much!
First time I have commented, but I have read many of the stories presented. It was truly excellent. To master the short story is an art and a gift.
Bravo bravo! A great tale from the author indeed. More please. And a masterful reading by our beloved Squirrel!
The Humans picked a fine race to ally with...one that treasures, and respects tradition, _and_ craftsmanship.
Not to mention the sheer weight of time in this piece.
I like that. Makes you feel all warm and gooey. Lol.
Exact plot of a sword story from a few weeks back
Yeah, this was the inspiration for peacemaker. The author read this and made his version.
@@georgebulbakwa9017 Ah, so this was the original, not Peacekeeper.
Onion Ninjas. Gruddamn onion ninjas.
Worthy story of the true worth of history
❤ brilliant as always thank you
A heartwarming tale.
Great story! And, as usual, greatly executed.
A great read of a great story
TY
Great story!
Another cute heirloom.

For the Algorithm ,For the Author(s), For the Disembodied voice! For the Squirrel 🐿
the old stoys are exelent
That indeed was a valuable gift. Truthfully, I don't know if I could give something like that up if I knew the history behind it.
Later the alien translated the words on the bottom. “Made in Taiwan “
Damnit! Who keeps letting these onion ninja's out!? I *JUST* wrangled them back up...
I remember this one. I am so glad it is re-done. Awesome share. Thx ASN
This is simular to the peacemaker story.
It inspired Peace-seeker.

Wasn't the gift a sword, the first time around?
This story inspired that story.
Yeah, it's called "Peace-seeker"
Silly onion ninjas again.
Hmmmmmmmmm…. This story seems a lot like another story. I believe it was called peace seeker?
