Happy Sunday Stephen. Tobacco and liquor are a classic combination and bring back some good memories of a great bar on a cold winter night having a top shelf brandy with friends. TFS and I’ll look into this one.

I usually have a lot of respect for your reviews, but this one was either way off or was done with a brand promotion in mind. So I ended up buying it blindly as I’m a sucker for the tobacco note. To my surprise, these one doesn’t smell like tobacco at all. It does smell very artificial and very similar to one of the perfumes from the Alchimista house, either Enepay or Quasar. They both have a so called tobacco note, but they are so synthetic that it doesn’t smell like real tobacco. So, is this the best tobacco scent as claimed in this review? Certainly not to me. Is it a good perfume? Yes, it smells very good, but not on the account of tobacco. Since I own both mentioned perfumes above, however, I don’t think that I got anything new with this purchase.
Is it possible to name a perfume that contains a real tobacco note, with a strong performance and a beautiful scent?
@@May_Ms435that’s the classic conundrum in perfumery. There is nothing like the scent of natural oils. However, natural oils, in most cases, either are not long lasting or smells as strong as synthetic counterparts. Of course, attar oils are a different story, but for regular EdP’s, there is a trade off between strength/performance and natural/real smell.
Amouage Royal Tobacco and Amouage Boundless seem to be two tobacco perfumes that I have enjoyed lately.
