I did not wanted to rant anyhing i love Palsteron contend and watch it every day, its just annoying because not all of us can make 200 divines per day with crafting so we use other methods. here is my data 144 map run [toxic sewer run] 4min estimate per map cost: 3 ess scarab=9c 1 ess tier scarab=7c 1 ess upgrade scarab=1c 6c for map device ess 5c map alc & go 15c for 5 corrupt ess [estimate only sometime less] estimate per map cost = 43c per map run 144map = 6192c total cost spend after run only ess + scarab earn = 85d 8c [ 14968c] 144map=103c per map earn profit = 8776c perhour earn [only scarab & ess] = 5d [i spend 9.6hour but i count as 10hour] not include t17+other etc drop i did drop a hina lock during this farm normal ess i price on 90%,high ess i price 100%,scarab 90% on ninja price overall if u run fast u earn more,i did it while movie and chill its a good strat
I actually did almost exactly this strat at the start of the league, but with Harvest and Crop Rotation in the mix, also worked pretty well but was a bit more investment for the Harvest Scarab of Doubling
Huh,. i do something similiar: essences + alva + destructive play on shaper guardian maps + all major scarab nodes on atlas. Not the fastest, but compared to deli mirror guardian rotas i did before that - very chill, even considering that some of those essences in t16 have more hp than pinnacle bosses xD Something like silo on repeat (omitting invitations) would work as well. You really want a linear map though - with 10+ essences it's easy to miss some on big sprawling layouts.

I ran this strat early on in the league, and tried it a bit last league. I like it, but I'm addicted to making end map monsters with crystal resonance.
I’ve been doing essences on t16 maps too but I added shadow shaping to block out all the maps with bad layouts and added maven with destructive play. Then allocated all the final map boss has a chance to elder/shaper/syth/conquerer maps at the top of the tree and I get at least one elder/shaper/syth/ conq map every map which adds 10-15 c per map. Sometimes you even get awakened gems and mavel chisels which adds even more profit to the map. With all the extra points i also added chance to get a kirac mission on map complete so you can buy 20 chisel for 8c from him. Rn they are going for 15 chisels for 20c which adds another small little layer of profit per map. Not much but it’s there.
Literally just started doing this. As betrayal have screwed me royally. One veiled orb after at least 30/40 kats. Also, chisels are not really worth it unless you care about bubblegum currency.
honestly though this is bittersweet to see, i saw all the yt vids this month about strats, and about streamer/content makers cursing markets nad causing crazy shifts with stuff, but i saw how easy calcification was nad tried the normal way and then remade everything to farm corrupted ones instead SINCE EINHAR MEMORIES WERE WAY WORSE, but now sadly with this out and the crash we had with everyone catching on to calficiations downside, its clear as day that CALCIFATION corrupted essence farming memes are dead and very very low profit, but yesssssssssssss sooooooooooooooooo much profit for even yellow map 3 basic scarab and corrupting go! ITS JUST SO HEART WARMING NAD HEART BREAKNIG TO SEE A DIVERGENT STRAT THAT I LEARNED ON MY OWN GET FEATURED! I FEEL SO SMART FOR ONCE WAHOO! now if only my build had farmed enoguh cash to be able to upgrade and kill stuff like essences IN FREAKNIG RED MAPS before it was ruined hahahahaa this is fun to see for everyone to enjoy, but stil lbest in t7/8s but yeah you can do t16s now with good gear i just wish i was there :(

Why do you say that Crystal Resonance disincentivizes using Scarab of Calcification? According to the wiki (and my own test), the "replace all essences with 1 essence" part kicks in AFTER the regular Remnant of Corruption outcome. So using the Remnant of Corruption still provides the same expected value of corrupted essences. And then the "map boss is granted a random Essence modifier" part kicks in, so the notable is actually an overall increase in expected value of corrupted essences.
its weird but in practice theres alot of reasons, primarily its because of the scarab i think? somehow that atlas notable "causing things ot transform" glitches with the transform or upgrade only scarab for tihs strat and prevents corrupted transformation entierly, simply only allowing the "swap with other type" "transformation"? this is just my tin foil hate but i enjoyed running this alot last weekend before it apparently got popular and completly ruined the market and relative time value :\ that doesnt even account for the fact that those bosses are BRUTAL. buuuuuuuuuuut if your NOT trying to get corrupted essences then 10000000% use the atlas notable~ also anacdotally but it feelsl ike it IS HEAVILY WEIGHTED to pick a lower tier essence when transforming, and even if the coruption happens FIRST in the sequence, and isnt bricked, if you have a shrieking, wailing, screaming etc left ON the thing, itll almost ALWAYs pick those first as the "weaker" essence outcome iirc
also jackpot hunting like that has felt really bad if you arnt going to do upwards of 100s of maps a week in long term farming~ my 20 map baby runs just did not enjoy the bad misses when 3 purples dont corrupt and instead become 7 wailing essences~
Calcification + Crystal Resonance IS the strat. It disicentivizes using --> Remnants, hence why there were less Essence of Horrors and they were so expensive last week.

I can't confirm with this card specifically, but a similar boss drop only card divine beauty (12 set for 7 div) that used to only drop from merveil has dropped for me while killing normal mobs in underground sea

It's rough man, I'm still farming it and making so much less currency... the 1c scarab went up to 1.2c and the others were unchanged because everybody is farming essences since day 1. Goddamn streamers bro...goodbye strat

I like doing essences with destructive play/maven invite plus scaling up final map boss drops through scarabs/maps etc. Very fun endgame essence strat

I got The Aesthete (Shavronne cards) from mobs in the map, yet to get it from shavronne herself
I got mine from a random mob, not the boss.
