I will have an updated more in depth video on this build as its evolving. I've already changed a few things up and its feeling REALLY good mapping right now.
now add a call of the brotherhood and insta perma freeze anything. also, get your defenses up and apply electrocute with electrocuting instead of lightning arrow. electrocute cucks your damage, if you add fork instead it creates an extra projectile that will cause orb of storms to arc your rods more.
This is what Ive been using as well. The burst damage inside the orb is amazing. The biggest problems are cast/attack speed and duration of the effects. I'll be looking at taking a reduction in dps to improve those as that will give more space for avoiding big damage hits from bosses. Hopefully making it a bit more relaxed even if the fights take a bit longer. Unlike youre build I didnt go up the evasion route. Instead I went down the side taking INT for 3 nodes and moved back into the one evasion node that gives the +10 dex. I felt stats were more important in the early game. From there I moved to projectile damage / accuracy nodes. This allowed faster clear since damage mitigation is so low from gear until mid/late game it felt best to kill as fast as possible while using movement speed and dodge as the main mitigation tool. Playing in HC btw so my focus is doing as much damage as possible without it being too hectic
I'm crushing ranger lightning build at 70+ and stormcaller strike is hands down the best ability to spam. Use the rods and Magnetic Salvo later on (consumes rods for giant aoe). you're welcome :)
Yeah you're right. At first I thought you had to have your secondary equipped with the weapon that the skill came from, but you don't. You just need the attribute specs!
Unlikely. You still need to actually fight the bosses and participate in their mechanics. It's not OP. Perhaps if someone finds a way to break one of the the skills for a different build it might happen. Ranger simply isnt the game breaker than some of the other classes are.
My updated build at level 84 is now uploaded. I go over gems, tree, and gear. ruclips.net/video/FARVxYINIKI/видео.html

Can u make a char on magg or what the home page says with your spec ?
No need for the wand right?? You can still use orb regardless

opinion on lightning rod on controller? I feel like the placement is a bit less efficient.
I have not tried this game yet on controller but I imagine any build that requires more precise control will be more difficult.
Thoughts on chances that this gets nerfed?
