They want to break down the “gender binary”-the division between man and woman-and replace it with a battery of new sexual and political identities. I have to disagree on the drug addiction. Studies show that getting people in treatment lowers the crime rate and success rates are much higher than people think. Also puts em in the work force. I know because I was a teenage addict. I'm 30 now. I've been clean and sober for a decade now. It took a lot of work but a lot of people I started in treatment with are still there. Were all working. Were all alive.
There still are a lot of archaic laws that make it harder for us to pay for our treatments and that can effectively put us in prison if we do so much as lapse on a parking ticket.
In CA for example you can be a drug addict and get caught with two small $10 baggies but never commit any other crimes. Never harm anyone. Then one day u lapse on a parking ticket or something stupid and now ur doing life in prison with murderers and rapist.
Shit does need to change when it comes to addiction. Big pharma and the cartels and DOCTORS got lots of people addicted. Many of them like me, when we were young. And there's not much help for us. And stigma hurts us.
Shoplifting goes down when addiction rates go down. When people are given treatment and allowed to work and not treated worse than child molesters just because they experimented with drugs in their youth, then society benefits as a whole.
I see comments like this once in a blue moon from people who think they're conservatives but the truth is the woke actually don't help addicts at all. Trump and Trump supporters are the reason why addicts have the support we know have. Red states are increasing access to narcan and suboxone, democrats help every group BUT the addicts.
It is true that the woke have failed on crime enforcement but mere drug users who don't harm anyone and who don't commit any other crimes, shouldn't even be part of law enforcement.
If we stopped busting drug users we could use those resources to bust the dealers, and use the money siezed in operations to open more suboxone and methadone clinics so more people can be put back into the workforce. So more lives can be saved. So more young people can find God.
You are confusing ur personal bias with your political leanings and that's not right.
I mean at this point nobody has to "normalize" drug addiction. Its already been normalized in the sense that entire communities are deeply affected by it and we all have someone we love who has been affected by it whether it's prescription drugs or street drugs it's irrelevant.

You almost have it right. It’s part of a large divine right of the moneyed elites to rule the world. Normal equals deplorable and the deplorable must be ruled by their betters. If the normal decide to question why, say, a single Hungarian billionaire philanthropist gets to choose prosecutors across America, they can be put in their place using any one of a number of critical theories.

One of these instances of inserting a political identity is the editorial requirement to capitalize "Black" but not "white" when referring to someone's race. It's a widespread practice across media now.
Effectively, it means that any use of the word "Black" when referring to an individual imposes upon that individual a political meaning, regardless of whether that individual is acting in a political manner or even agrees with the concept.
It also normalizes the racist notion that "white" individuals are to be excluded from being political entities.
Yet, black and white are colors not races.

To explain the success: It sounds like teenagerism values on steroids, which became extended beyond the age group (particularly into the 20-30 year olds college group). Like the moving of other age behaviors in society at large. College is the new teens, Teens are the new elementary school. So we get also the Teens playing "imaginary games" of pretended gender identity exactly at the age when it is supposed to crystallize. These weakness drifts of society are then getting manipulated opportunistically by various interest groups.

Yes, and I think that is the overall objective, rather than a genuine desire for inclusivity or mainstreaming. It seems to me that many, if not most, of those who have been baptized into this movement are unaware that they are serving up a larger agenda. They are the brainwashed vectors of an activist-fueled leftist movement which has by now infiltrated schools, bureaucracies, professions, etc. While we're out here arguing about sex-changing kindergartners, they're behind the scenes, solidifying their disruptive agenda and protocols.

I was recently told that I should get out of the Arts (my 30 plus year career) because I was trying to be "too normal." This is due to my apparently taboo opinion that women are adult human females.
I was told to stop painting... in art school. So even art is taboo in the arts. Must be all that iconoclasm that is creating all the taboos.
I'm trans and nonbinary, albeit anti-cancel-culture. I'll admit, the arts definitely attract quirky (and usually-progressive) types, but shouldn't we all be able to coexist no matter our political beliefs?

I always thought the movie 300 presented a great visual analogy for Western "heteronormativity" versus anti-normativity.
On the one side you have well muscled masculine men who believe in virtue, honor, and reason.
And on the other side you have a a veritable hoarde of twisted ugly freaks and carnival beasts on the warpath. I love the way you came about your solution about accepting anyone that doesn't fit the norm, for a new reality. I guess that is geographical and cultural. Each society I believe has a different reality, but not to far from the original concept of God, the values of the church and the human need for reproduction. Even though the christianity has taken a beating in the last 60 years or so, those values still exists. Thank goodness.
I don't see the end game. I put myself in their shoes, activism, reinvent myself, join other activists, learn the language of defence, in some cases get a sex change, and go on medications for the rest of my life and what then. In many cases the Ideology consumes them, they wake up every day and life is only about their identity. That's so shallow. People reinvent themselves everyday, and still maintain a productive self to contribute to a functioning society. I can't see how the Transgender Activist is going to maintain a steady, healthy and productive life. Who's going to pay the bills?.

I am a gay man too and find all of this wokeism and queerness a threat to our community as it is causing all of these identities to melt together into an indistinct amorphous blob. Being queer has nothing to do anymore with being gay. In fact calling oneself queer can be a way for perfectly straight people to assume a performative “LGBTQ” identity in order to increase their social credit standing.
The same thing with transgenderism. I am old enough to remember when sex and gender were seen as separate categories. One’s gender identity was not seen as trumping one’s biological sex. When the trans movement changed to “transwomen are women” mode circa 2015 it became nearly as impossible to define what gay and straight meant as to define what man and woman meant. It watered down the meaning of sexual orientation because it negates the relevance of biology.

great insight Chris! Regarding obese models, I don’t think this will go away, however for me, it makes me want to scroll past that image as quickly as possible. Perhaps a compromise could be to toggle model image preferences. I have family and friends of all sizes (as we all do) and I certainly don’t mean any disrespect to them , but they know they’re not healthy and strive to have a healthy BMI. I just don’t find it attractive on women or men models to see fat spilling out and around of clothing. The market will show whether or not this trend of mainstreaming obesity will continue.

I think even as the negation is at work in earnest, there's an underlying assumption that the oppressive structures won't actually crumble both because they're too big, and there's also a constant need for it to exist to define the movement to the point of insisting on it's increasing power and oppression (eg they're causing literal genocide of trans). Their "Chaz's" fall apart, as will everything they touch because they can't accept the real accumulation of the damage this movement causes.
Institutionalized and informal social norms define a society. To advocate for nonnormative society is incoherent. So of course they have their own new inverted social norms they wish to impose. To have no social norms is equivalent to having no social interaction, no society.

I don't think it's bad that mannequins are not pencil thin all the time now. It's not bad to represent people as they actually are. The previous super skinny perfect body look of models in advertisements was completely unrealistic and messed with young people's minds in a different way. Companies market to actual people. It is not their job to encourage healthy living or whatever you are implying here. Really, we should teach the children to create a blind spot to corporate advertising and ignore it utterly. It is NOT a good thing and it saturates everything.
That whole image of wafer thin, "anorexia chic" or "heroin chic" as the ultimate feminine ideal, was conceived, perpetuated, & imposed on society by flamboyantly homosexual, privately misogynistic, "woman hating" fashion "guru or icon" designers like Karl Lagerfeld, as a kind of disguised, concealed revenge on women kind, by covertly imposing impossibly unattainable physical ideals, guaranteed to induce all manner of physical & psychological stress & damage on women who have no idea they're being manipulated for the perverse amusement of these demented ass punchers. Lagerfeld famously stated that any woman opposed to this warped idealised image of extremely thin physique, is a fat, lazy, corrupt, unmotivated, disgusting failure sitting on a couch devouring potato chips and sugary soda, blaming everyone else for their bloated appearance, or words to that effect. Which should demonstrate the utter contempt with which these mincing "creatures" regard a healthy, realistic, natural, attractive female body image. I beg to differ on this one. I’m 46 and Still 102lbs at 5’5” naturally! Those skinny runway models an mannequins were an are the ones that looked like me. But since the 90s I’ve been hearing that my body type is “unrealistic” when it’s most certainly not! Obviously I understand that I ended up with some decent genetics but that doesn’t negate the fact that for the most part the American diet is horrible! It’s not that people can’t attain a fit body, most just don’t want to change their habits.
Not including people who have LEGITIMATE health reasons. I know there are conditions and medications that cause weight gain. An I have the utmost compassion for those people. However for the majority it’s mental issues and laziness. But I guarantee many of these mental health issues could be alleviated if people got the physical aspects of their life straightened out. Being physically fit helps one’s psychological fitness more than most people could ever imagine!

It is the basic premise of relativity and the idea that everything is subjective and there is no objective truth which of course there is. Objectivity is proven both by repeatability (the basis of all scientific testing) and also Geography. Also experience tells us this is true. If I die, then the world continues on without me. I know this as I have seen people being buried and yet life continued, no matter how painfully. It is only children who doubt object permanence. We know that a tree can exist for over a hundred years and outlive most humans. There is so much evidence for objectivity that subjectivity has no credence at all. We may experience things differently but that is our brains, cognitive biases etc. Our brains though cannot change what is 'out there'. That is called magical thinking.

I do question Judith Butler's "Queer Theory"...and her political point of view of gender theory. It would seem Judith Bulter, as a gay person, a philosopher and teacher, should be challenged on her theories more often than not, as her "theory" has been circulating at least ten years and "taught" at Universities.
I interpret "queer" as being nothing short of someone declaring they are anti-social. A complete rejection of the surrounding culture. I will not affirm anti-social behavior.

Optimistic look into the future: As this Woke attitude is becoming mainstream, "traditional" becomes the alternative culture. The true independent rebel souls will be alienated. As long as we provide jobs, networking support, and political influence to these 'anti-normative' ideologues through our colleges and universities, the evolutionary processes discussed in this video will be increasingly curtailed. The tragic statistical differences in outcomes between children raised by single mothers and those raised by single fathers or two-parent families are not only a direct result of the social and political influence of these ideologues, but also a source of fodder for their movement. Until we begin eliminating them from our academies, we have not even begun to solve this problem - and it starts by requiring the adoption of real-world responsibilities by students.

Your reminders of how bad things are, whilst important for people who maybe aren't red-pilled, I find just depressing. I HATE the power that woke unquestionably has, particularly on my generation (Gen Z). It is not just a disgrace, but a civilizational humiliation, that we allowed it to get so powerful. Our pathetic weakness when it comes to facing woke will forever taint the value of our society, even if we recover from it, which ghastly polling seems to suggest unlikely.
Gen Z once seemed to be the vanguard of hope in the rational skeptic/anti-SJW era, and early polls seemed to confirm it. I was proud to belong to the 'turning point generation' that would smash both economic and cultural liberalism, two sides of the same evil. But the mass deplatforming after 2016 worked (as AOC smugly boasted), and now poll after bloody poll shows them the most brainwashed of any generation. No matter how much I feel there should be a backlash, it just never comes.
I prefer talk on how we can fight back. I want these people to properly pay for what they have inflicted on our society in the past 20 years.
I want to replace their mocking 'we're on the right side of history' with a crushed, broken fear. Nothing less than total eradication will stop them, as they have a religious fervour which outmatches our own, and they will never stop fighting for their evil beliefs unless the actual physical force of the state stops them.
If they are to take us seriously, and not just 'progressives at the speed limit' we need to at least repeal gay marriage. Gay marriage showed the LGBT activists that social conservatives are pathetic, weak, and can be easily manipulated, and that they will always make conservatives capitulate in the end, even when passing the measures they wanted was by overturning direct democracy by lawless judicial activists.
We must unapologetically undo the cultural changes of at least the past 25 years, and sear in the woke activist's minds one unforgettable lesson: to NEVER humiliate us again.

That doesn't explain the dramatic increase in these would-be-gay. Any relationship between trans and biological inheritance is quite tenuous, especially when we account for the absolute explosion in cases. It is likely partially socially constructed. Evolution probably could not have sustained the survival of humanity if "trans" were that prevalent in nature.
I am a gay man and still see it as a moral fight. “Queer” is not a sexual orientation anymore but a political stance to usher in radical social, economic and political change. It has nothing to do with how someone is born but an assumed identity that maximizes countercultural identities in order to overturn society. It’s also possible for perfectly heterosexual people to assume a “queer” identity in order to increase their social credit standing and appear to be something they’re not without the fear of their fraud being called out. That’s not what I’m about.

These people - delusional, abused mentaly - will be more and more % in population - not many "regular" people will be able to make steady relationships with them (sexualy speaking but maybe also as friends, as I m sure many of regular majority would like to avoid these people now becouse of obvious reasons - we dont want them near our partners and our kids ! ) and most of these people who were chemicaly and surgicaly sterilised will be also mentaly and medicaly dependant on big-pharma. But most of those who were sterilised will want to have kids. And I m sure that under the pretext of giving them this ability (biological way) again, and under the pretext of helping poorest women (who would like to "work" as surogates mothers), and under the pretext of developing an invention from 2017 of artificial uterus - all those pretexts will be used to make genetical modifications (secretly) on "babies for gays" or "babies for transgenders". Most of transgenders are so disturbed that they actualy dont have a clue about how to be one of the other of reale genders. Their instincs to care for real babies are psychologicaly and by global - medias indoctrination already disturbed. Esp men who likes to be women will not be able to be real mothers for little kids (becouse they are NOT women), maybe women who like to be men will be more in tune with the things that need little babies and kids. So they will not be only those who will get help in becoming parents, they will also be such kind of parents which wont care about what genetical engineering is doing to their prospective children. And what these two brothers (famous and rich guys) will have as their main goal is I guess development of human species (by genetic engineering) to a kind of humans which are able to live long and healthy IN SPACE. We cannot live and work without limits and without become sick in space. Under the pretext of helping sterilised people to be "parents" these kids will be geneticaly developed by modifications made with the help of MRNA - virusological technology. Thats their most futuristic goal I guess :) Becouse no one of regular persons (I guess even not LGB persons ) under no pressure or under any kinds of awarding would not agree to modification of THEIR OWN kids before birth ! And open genetical modifications of human DNA are prohibited ! Its illigal !
