@Jake Bello As a series first, each playable character now possesses his or her own unique attributes in Metal Slug 6. The amount of ammunition received from weapons, defensive ability of vehicles, and melee speed vary from person to person, each of whom possess a special ability: Marco Rossi: As you have mentioned it, his default weapon (Pistol on Hard, Heavy Machine Gun on Easy) has twice the ordinary strength. Tarmicle "Tarma" Roving III: While riding in or on a Slug, durability and the effects of power-ups are doubled; additionally, the Vulcan cannon's power is increased by 50%. He also is capable of using Vulcan Fix when on or in any vehicle. Fiolina "Fio" Germi: Begins each mission with the Heavy Machine Gun in the Weapon Stock (on Easy mode, she begins with the Big Heavy Machine Gun by default). Weapon supply is also increased by 50%. Eri Kasamoto: Receives twice as many grenades upon starting or resupplying. She can aim her throws in specific directions, including upwards and downwards, and at varying distances. Ralf Jones: Melee attack speed is doubled, at the expense of weapon and grenade supplies being halved. He can also use the special Vulcan Punch attack, melee strikes capable of damaging vehicles. Can take two hits from most attacks before losing a life. Lastly, he is the only character able to damage vehicles and larger enemies with his melee attacks. Clark Still: He can perform his Super Argentine Backbreaker against most non-vehicle enemies. Using it on a vulnerable target grants him temporary invincibility during and after the move, while earning generous amounts of points that increase with each additional enemy thrown.
When I saw the player select I was like: "What? Colonel Ralf Jones and Major Clark Still are in this game? I thought they're in KOF ((King Of Fighters)) game"
@Hamad Humaid Yes, the original team of Marco Rossi, Tarma Roving, Eri Kasamoto and Fio Germi is joined by newcomers Ralf Jones and Clark Still of "King of Fighters" and "Ikari Warriors" fame in Metal Slug 6.

@AdamantGA Hello! In order to get all the three "Prisoners of War" at 10:42 mark, first, you have to walk up to that exact specific spot and stop (at 10:37 mark). Then jump on the upper part of the wooden platform and go left. That way you will be able to get all the three Prisoners.

@M Fadhil If you play the game on Easy Mode, the game ends just before the fifth and final mission with a note "To Be Continued". You can access the fifth and final mission only if you play the game on Hard Mode.
Well, Metal Slug Anthology is still considered a separate game. So if Metal Slug 6 were to come out in America, it should be a standalone title unlike KOF 2000/2001 or KOF 2002/2003 or Metal Slug 4/5.
There IS no autofire on PS2. This run was done with manual fire (tapping the fire button rapidly instead of holding it). For Slugs, there is a Vulcan Fix option but this is NOT the same as autofire. @Hamad Humaid Well, when "Rootmars" was ultimately defeated in Metal Slug 3, it was not dead but severly injured while it sank to the bottom of the sea. In Metal Slug 6, as Rootmars lay dormant under the sea while recovering from the previous battle, the Martians were left defenseless against their natural predators, the Invaders, who took the opportunity to conquer both the Martians and Earth. With the help of the Rebel Army, the Martians rescued Rootmars and after some misunderstanding, allied themselves with the Regular Army to counter the Invaders. If the player rides Rootmars in the 4th mission, then it - instead of Morden - will appear to rescue the players at the end of the final mission. Also, Metal Slug 6 is the first game to feature three factions working together to repel or defeat another faction. In this case, the Regular Army, Rebel Army and Mars People against the Invaders.
@Thuso Antoney Well, I'm quite busy with a lot of different video games at the moment so it will take some time for sure to start a Longplay of Metal Slug 7 and Metal Slug XX.

Did you used any sort of hack to make the game widescreen compatible? I'm trying to see if you used stretched but the sprites seem normal in my eye. Very good run too! Marco just feels like a second Easy mode in this game.
