- I started watching The Walking Dead in 2014 and have been so hooked ever since. I recently took a trip down to Senoia and Atlanta GA to see the filming locations and it was absolutely surreal. The best portion of course was being able to drive in and walk around Alexandria. I do have some ideas for video essays so be on the lookout for those.

Was this right after they stopped filming? Those walls are probably gone from Alexandria now. Very cool!
Yeah, I just went yesterday. They kep the main gate walls set up in the downtown area as a display, but the rest of the walls are gone.
Least we know we aren't seeing the place in the new show anytime soon.
I like that kings county kept a few of morgan’s schizo graffitis around, theyre probably gone now tho

@tater4542 The walls were taken down in mid 2022 or around then due to people actually living in Alexandria and the need to build more homes.

We just visited Senoia yesterday, went to the "museum" or that you call "the woodbury shoppe" in your video, the SETI place, and a few other places. Was really cool.

these days you can actually buy the homes within alexandria. the production crew built alexandria purposely to sell the properties after using them, so if you have about $700k - $1.2 million, you can move right into the set of your favourite show!
my biggest flex is that ive been to woodbury and alexandria
I honestly only cared to see the farm or the prison or the Sanctuary & maybe Alexandria but , everything else isn't really that cool anyway & it never was especially Woodberry!!!! I hated season 3 more than any other season other than season 11 so I could careless about any of the other locations!!!! Id probably check it out if I was in the area but I'm definitely not driving across the city or state to see those boring sets 😂
