- Local Real Estate Boards in Ontario, Canada. Do we need them?, what are they? and how much do they cost? I do get these questions quite often and rightfully so. The Humber College Real Estate Courses have very limited information on what’s going to happen next after we complete the program.
Real Estate Boards in Ontario are separate from your brokerage. Your real estate brokerage of choice will work with your local real estate board to get you set up, but after that consider them to be completely separate resources to help us build our real estate business.
First we'll go through what is a real estate board and what do they provide, second how much does it cost to be a member of our local real estate board, and last do we need to be a member of a real estate board. I really hope the video helps! 😀👍

Hi Callum, can you please make a video for step by step process for listing first house. Like what paper work, how to do mls and find relevant info and what type of questions to expect from buyer salesperson. I k ow it’s taught in simulation but just want to know how it works in real world. That would be very helpful.
And may be another video of buyer salesperson step by step guide.

Can you be a part of two or more boards so you can sell across Ontario?
Yes you can. It will come with another initiation fee and monthly and annual dues. But it does make sense in a A LOT of scenarios to be apart of 2 or more.

Hey awesome Mike glad they help! Most people I talk to join TRREB in your situation. It might be worth a call to compare but we always end up going with TRREB. 👍
