@@bungaialoevera ya, but the guy above mentioned about the cave that can fit 40 boeing planes... that is the Deer cave in Mulu... Niah Cave can fit up to 40 boeing planes ka??
What an adventurous bunch! Your kids going to grow up confident and brave! This is probably the most detailed video of caving in Gua Tempurung. I appreciate it!
Amazing. I think you're the first travel vloggers who did caving/spelunking videos. Having done a few, I think it requires strength, especially mental strength !! encouraging oneself to go through the claustrophobia and all other obstacles. Congrats !
While many tourists like to do youtube content on the cities, the foods, the street arts etc, you guys rock... doing the spelunking! What an adventure.
Hey mate.. salute to you and your family for that wet cave adventures.. it's not as easy as it seems.. but amazingly you guys did it .. Literally, I went there last February, but I dare not join the adventures, lol.. Anyways, Well done!!👍💪👏😊
this is the real deal..natural adventure..not a man made theme park adventure...well done guys...love this kind of video...next..go white water rafting in Gopeng....not far from Gua Tempurung
love all your videos and glad that you and your family shared such an adventure like this. also, nearby gua tempurung on the outskirts of Ipoh town, is gua tambun. climbing up to the middle level, you actually get to see cave drawings that have been dated back around 2000-3000 years. very few people know about this as well. it was discovered by british servicemen who were stationed nearby in the late 1950s.
Your whole family is so adventurous! I was here before but quite some years already! I remembered our final part was under water if up to our chest level & we held our hand phones up near our heads!
I went there when I was 10 and the cave was hugeeee. Me and my family walked & climbed stairs for almost an hour and the tour guide said we weren't even half way through yet. We decided to end it there and reverse back as we were all exhausted 😂. Gua Tempurung is such an underrated tourist spot & the Perak government must do more to promote it.
Gua Tempurung seems like a very fun place for adventure. But locals believe Gua Tempurung is a "keras" area. "Keras" literally means hard but colloquially it means "place where lots of spirits reside". There's even a case of missing runner during a trail run event (Gopeng Ultra Trail Run) in 2019. There're hundreds of other participants in the run but he just disappeared without any traces during the event. It's believed that he disappeared around Gua Tempurung area. Malaysia's Search and Rescue (SAR) team mounted an operation combing the whole area for more than a month but not a single clue was found. It's really bizarre, weird and can't be rationally explained. Some people believe that he's being hidden by "orang bunian" (local supernatural beings) because not a single evidence or clue or trace found even though the SAR team has searched all nooks and corners of the whole area for more than a month. You can Google "missing man at Gua Tempurung trail run" to know more. There's even a forum to discuss the mysterious case with lots of theories being thrown in but the discussion is in Malay language. But I believe even with the missing man case is still unresolved and left us with many questions, Gua Tempurung is safe for everyone to venture and explore as long as you have a professional guide with you and respect the place, honour the nature and abide the dos and don'ts of local customs when you are in the "keras" area. Enjoy and explore Malaysia more! Love all your videos! Super awesome! Super fun and adventurous family! Love it!
'Keras' yes it means hard. As American slang will say, some 'hard ass spirits' reside around that area. Not only Gua Tempurung but also the rest of Malaysia as the rainforest are one of the oldest in the world (Australia's Daintree forest is oldest). Meaning if there are any spirits, they have been there for a very very long time. I wonder if the Australian aborogines have any tales to tell.
You guys are awesome!! As a Malaysian I have no idea at all the Gua Tempurung is so much fun and adventure..Malaysia tourism should promote more about our hidden gem! Great video guys and love it! Hey new subscriber here 👋
It looks really fun for nature adventurers but it can be unpredictable and dangerous when the water level rises… anyway thanks for sharing this magical cave! 👍👏
Been there 30years ++ ago. Way before the stairs installed. Gua Tempurung, at that time was raw. Now opened to anyone. Glad I did it when I was young and still strong.
Now your children start creating memories for themselves here. Hope they are good one. And hope these memories will make them love this land. In a few more years you can do jungle tracking with them or something like that. But for now just do a safer relaxing adventure 1st. Hope the whole family have a safe and fun life here.☺️
One of my all time favorites. I missed the Gardens at Gua Tempurung. But, there are also white water rafting and durian there! I rather not take the small watery tunnel for my size (simillar to Jimmy) with half full and a helmet on as there is only a few breathing space with people in front and behind of me because there is safer passage beside it, a walking by passage. For me, the enclosed cave with 8 storey height roof is just awesome❤.
Its advisable not to make a loud noise in the cave because you'll wake the bats. 🤣🤣 I love to enjoy the silence in the cave.. Congratulations.. to the boys..
I used to bring friends for hardest route caving here again and again. It was rm15 per head back then and the guide know I won't pay him if he try simpler route. 😂
Great video but it is not the largest cave in Malaysia. Sarawak Chamber is the largest known cave chamber in the world by area and the second largest by volume after the Miao Room in China. It is in Gua Nasib Bagus (Good Luck Cave), which is located in Gunung Mulu National Park, in the Malaysian Territory of Sarawak on the island of Borneo.
Well… that was a pretty misleading title. For a start, I thought you guys went to the Mulu Caves. 🙄 Gua Tempurung definitely is the largest in the peninsula but not the largest in the whole of Malaysia. But thanks for that mislead ‘cos now we know that the Malaysia that you refer to is only the peninsula/west Malaysia. 😂
