Even so, Lex would've done something to make Clark not trust him anyway. He probably would've exploited Clark's powers for his own personal gain or something. I've never read any of the comics or anything, but I know that no matter what, Lex Luthor was always destined to be Superman's greatest enemy. So no matter what would've happened, Lex still would've gone down a dark path anyway. There is no stopping that.

Phelan was a despicable character, but I like the actor that plays him. If they ever do a series for The Question I hope they consider him.
