Review of Champions - The Acolyte - Episode 1 & 2

Lucas Film dropped the first two episodes of The Acolyte this week on Disney+. And of course there was some made up controversy with fake news spread within ' the fandom' . Review bombing the show on Rotten Tomatoes because some words from the lead actress spoken 6 years ago were taken out of context... We are getting real tired of this dumb behavior. Anyway. Grandmaster and Taylor still discussed the show. We had to after that big paycheck from Disney.

First 2 episodes were fine. I like how Mae uses her force abilities almost solely to enhance her combat prowess. Sol is good. The pacing is fine but I’m surprised how fast the revenge plot is moving. 7/10 so far. It has potential but nothing jumps out as particularly great.
