This song has been my anthem since I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and depression, during my depression every moment has been a battle, however, this song pulled me through many times, these scars they make me strong but they also break me on a level that nobody else can and this song had shown me the light when I was in a sea of darkness. I will always wear my scars for they are my demons and I can't get rid of them but live with them for they are part of me and I won't allow for them to break me.

Besides the stuff on the radio is just auto tuned crap that has no emotional value. It teaches that drugs are fine and that everyone does them and that it's cool. If anything your mother needs to understand that this is a lot lot better than some of the rap that todays youth are listening to.
