Beautiful cards. You make it look so easy. Is there a paper that is sticky on both sides to press down on a card base then just place pieces on the stickiness.

Great ideas. I have this paper pad in 12 x 12 size, I love it so much, I keep ordering it 😄 I love the embossing idea too, but I have a terrible time trying to find the larger sized ones. I only have a Big Shot, so can only go up as far as A5 size, so I struggle getting them. I only have 4x6 ones which aren't really much use for anything. Thanks for sharing these ideas, maybe one day I will find A5 embossing folders 🙂

Hi Sam and everyone, after watching this RUclips video that Sam had done about scraps I had fallen in love with Dovecraft Butterfly Kisses. What I think I liked about it was not just the wonderful colours but that you could buy a whole amount of co ordinating things like ribbons, butterfly's and so on and I just love the pad where there was decoupage to match. Please, please, please, can anyone suggest another kit like this, I have bought this and most that goes with it and love to purchase another one in a different colour way and theme but one like Butterflys that you can use for all different occasions. I thank you in advance and hope that someone some where has an answer to this for me,

I love it when what would probably be thrown away by most, gets used in such a creative and pretty way. Making background papers from what is essentially waste. Ah but we know better don't we Sam. I'm also wanting now to find a good sized bubble embossing folder, because after seeing today's 'Live craft along with Sam Calcott' (MUCs rule) on the 07/05/21 and this tutorial same day but many hours later...I find I have the urgent need of a bubble embossing folder in my life. Guess who's buying one of those then... Lol, anyone who's seen it used and not got. That would be me then too. Come to me my pretty come to momma...oops sorry got sidetracked. Anyhoo, a lovely set of cards. Great projects to just sit and play with. Out come all the cut offs tomorrow. Thanks as always Sam. Xxx

Great use of scraps and never thought about the embossing pattern paper trick! The white border between the strips really enhances the card! The circles card was a great idea! Love the burst strips card too! great multiple sentiments card! The triangle card is a great idea too! The next strip card is a neat effect! OK so not surprising ALL the cards are brilliant!

Too many of us buy pretty paper but set it aside and forget to use it. This tutorial will show us how to use up scraps, even if we don't have that particular set, we can use what we have and apply your ideas and add solids where needed. Keep up the good work.
