Reading these comments, I realised that people's mindset is so annoying and cheap. Yeh log jo baar baar bolte hai "girls always fall for red flags" or "Girls only like bad boys". Glad that it did not take much time for girl to realise the toxicity. For some it takes half of their youth to realise the severity. It may not always be the physical abuse but the mental trauma you go through in such relationships haunts you forever. And when you realise it half of your life is already over. My story through and through. I was with a guy like this, he was possessive, controlling and weirdly obsessive. He used to fight with me on anything and everything, used to verbally abuse me and called me a "whore" just because I had male friends. I chose him over my friends, my family and even my best friend. He forbade me from talking to anyone else except from him. I used to feel so suffocated. I now wonder why did I ever gave him the liberty to do that to me? I felt pathetic for a very long time. Reading these comments, I realised that people's mindset is so annoying and cheap. Yeh log jo baar baar bolte hai "girls always fall for red flags" or "Girls only like bad boys". Bhai pura start to end galat statement hai. Girls fall for guys who they like, abb unki galti nahi that the boy becomes bad or shows his real personality after she is too invested or fallen in love. Sometimes, girls are so blind in love that they don't realise negative traits, but mostly the guys start showing their real side AFTER they know that the girl is in love with them and emotionally invested. So stop thinking that 'Girls like red flags and dont like nice guys.' Self-proclaimed nice guys are barely ever actually nice.

My story through and through. I was with a guy like this, he was possessive, controlling and weirdly obsessive. He used to fight with me on anything and everything, used to verbally abuse me and called me a "whore" just because I had male friends. I chose him over my friends, my family and even my best friend. He forbade me from talking to anyone else except from him. I used to feel so suffocated. I now wonder why did I ever gave him the liberty to do that to me? I felt pathetic for a very long time. I used to cry all the time. He didn't use to hit me but he used to pinch me and twist my arms and dragged me as well but still I loved him. God knows why? He used to hit himself for doing that to me which always made me uncomfortable. I noticed the red flags way before but didn't pay attention to them.
