Interesting not that Sam Worthington was going to be Dracula back when Dracula Untold was called Dracula Year Zero, instead they went for Luke Evans. You know when Universal was doing The Mummy for The Dark Universe, they should've cast Sam Worthington as Nick Morton because he would've been better than Tommy Boy and might have had that feel and tone of Brendan Fraser as well.
I liked that Zeus came down to help Perseus better, but the other god scenes I think they should've included. I also don't know why they didn't show Hera's hatred for another of Zeus's bastard children, like in the first one.
Why did they delete these scenes? The Greeks have such a rich array of gods, having the movie focus solely on Zeus and Hades was boring. I wished they kept the Apollo scenes, gives the move more depth and life.

@flaminhotz5 maybe. But I think the filmakers wanted to have more connection with Zeus and Perseus. I think it was nice to see that Apollo actually had some part in the story. They should have kept a number of the deleted scenes though but I guess it was too long.
This deleted scene is good but I rather prefer it is Zeus was on this scene as being a father and son arguing to which Percius is being convince to become a god. It was Zeus responsibility as he is the one who caused all of this and not Apollo.
It is so strange that all the scenes of the Greek Gods were deleted... These scenes should have been in the movie. A film about the Greek Mythology needs the presence of the Greek Gods.

They should’ve kept this scene in the movie Luke Evans is such a great actor and really played this role well it’s too bad really they wasted his time by only showing his performance in delete scenes 😒☹️
I’m sorry but every movie should have a theatrical cut and the directors cut. We’re totally kicked in the shins by studio executives because they like short runtimes so they can have more viewings in day. The sacrifice quality for profit and then make fans look like assholes when we complain about the movie that gets released.
They gave this whole scene to Liam Neeson, most of Apollo’s scenes, Luke’s Scenes were taken out! Why!!!! I love Luke Evans and he deserved to a a couple of scenes instead of that one when they were at the meeting.
This should be the one they took, zeus giving the coin to Perseus makes no fcking sense. Like, Zeus wanted to punish humans but he wants to help Perseus to kill the kraken? Wtf?
these deleted scenes make more sense with the context of Apollo speaking out initially... in the theatrical release he basically he spoke out, then did nothing for the rest of the movie... Zeus being the one to help Perseus with the coin to take down his initial idea of Hades teaching humanity a lesson before he finds out that Hades was playing him, makes very little, if not no sense...
@CaliGal181 The Gods all share the same flaw: they all suffer from hubris. They forget that without humans they are weak. Apollo recognizes that and he tries to do what is right, even though he hides that beneath his mask
