Barry, I LOVE this fly! I've tied a similar version, without the zonker strip and with either marabout or three sili leg segments as a tail. It has been taken by perch, bass, bluegills and trout! :-) Can't wait to tie and fish this version! :-) Thank you!

Hi Nicole, How great! You don't have to coat the body with UV resin, you can just make it from Holo braid, but then you need to have a little lead wire under the braid. Good luck with it.
