As a Malaysian, I am also offended and feel uncomfortable after watching your video where it is clear that visitors (both locals and tourists from all over the world) to Batu Caves do not care to help together with the temple management in maintaining the beauty of the area and its surroundings, and even throw garbage everywhere without thinking about the negative effects in the future.
Appreciate the free facilities provided for the continuation of Batu Cave as one of the popular destinations for tourists. It should be remembered that this is not only related to tourism but cleanliness is very important and this is also the largest holy place for and house of worship for Hindus in Malaysia. Hopefully this video can provide motivation to maintain and preserve the beauty of the Batu Caves environment. Please throw garbage in the places that have been provided in the area.
I hope you both are happy while you are in KL and other interesting places in Malaysia.

It is very upsetting finding so much rubbish in such an iconic landmark. We really hope this video helps, even if it is a small group of people.
      Thank you so much 🫶
