Immigration destroyed my part of East London/ Ilford.
Ultimately Immigration is capitalism importing an OVER SUPPLY of labour in, which is a race to the bottom particularly for the working class. Oligarchs love immigration.
Capitalism will never invest in training, robotics or increase pay and conditions if it can just fly in labour.
You'd probably find cheaper foods right around where the migrants live, they can't afford the inflation.
The Labour party has been subtly pushing that argument. They have said they want to penalise companies that employ foreign workers instead of British people. They have also said that immigration was lower under Labour and is highest it has ever been under this Tory government because they lifted the pre-existing immigration cap.
