"The believers should not take unbelievers as allies in preference to believers. Anyone who does that will completely isolate himself from God, unless you are seeking to protect your own selves from them. God warns you to beware of Him. God is our ultimate destination."
    Ayyah is related to alliance.
    - Misunderstandings/misapplication of this Ayyah
The allegiance that takes one out of the fold of Islam pertains to:
    - Believers are not to ally with the disbelievers in such a way that they will be participating with the disbelievers under the disbelievers' banner/leadership fighting the believers - that takes one out of the fold of islam
    - Or taking the citizenship belonging to a Kafir entity - except in he case to protect self, wealth etc
    - As long as it doesnt go beyond that - eg prohibition to join their armies etc
Fighting in Islam is only permitted against those committing aggression against you, and as mentioned in Surah Tehreem:
    - Fighting is for your religion, fighting those who expelled you from your country, and those who support those who fight you
    - Or Immediate self defence
    - Fighting for anything else is not allowed, even if an Islamic State orders you this would be transgressing the Limit
You can not fight for resources, eor xpansion of Kingdom of for example Banu Umayyah
    - Banu Umayah and so called Fath of - eg Sind and possibly China was a transgression
Explanation of acceptable carrying of citizenship - Mowalat - is permissible
Taqiyah - self protection and its limits
