    Hi Lubna!
Thanks again for letting me take part in your interview, im truly grateful for the opportunity and also it was a first time experience for me!
Theres a few things id like to add as there was lack of time and due to my level of nervousness my thoughts on that day were also a little scattered.
The points i wanted to add are basically again reflected in this comment section.
If a person is an islam critic or basically has doubts of his religion or lives a different lifestyle then a Muslim that tries to abide by their faith, they get applauded by the public and if its a woman she is called "strong", "brave" and other very positive things.
On the other end if someone decided to embrace their religion and decided to stick to it then it is quickly assumend by the public that such person must be "deluded", "weak" or "naive/dumb".
This is what happened when i saw the comments on the video of the ghanian lady and again it happens here.
I appreciate your work Lubna however i must say that i gave up on the desperate desire to fit into other peoples ideal or constantly defending myself and my religion.
There is enough problem's to be addressed and rectified in our own community and i prefer working on those rather to try and please or convince a person that no matter how hard you try to explain yourself and no matter how many facts and proof you bring them they refuse to be educated.
Some nonmuslims apparently seem to know my religion and my circumstances much better then me!
People having a problem with me wearing a Niqab. But not many seem to have had a problem with Apostate Aladin for example who as well covered his face.
Please define for me what it means to put your face into the open! Millions of ladies everyday trying to alternate themselves, undergoing painful and even harmful procedures just to be "fit" for what society defines as the "norm". Even if it is just makeup. Most women do love to use makeup and i personally see it as a form of art and creativity however if we have come to the level where most ladies cant show their bare face in public anymore then we have a problem!
Yes i wear a niqab but i do express myself and i am transparent in my acts and words.
People commenting on me being divorced and worrying about my integration or who pays for all those loads of kids.. to be honest i am giving you that as although i only have two kids it does sometimes really feel like an army of kids in my house😂.. i appreciate your concerns but i want to let you know that we are well looked after!
Actually i am getting a lot of benefits and working is just my cover to get more and more benefits. Thats an amazing life i have.
I also did not get to rent a property as most of you well spotted, nobody would like to rent out a property to a lady with "no face" - thats where the decathlon sales came in handy! - i have been able to purchase myself a tent and set it up un the woods, where me and my kids now live! Praise to God!😊
I work once a week for one of the biggest charity organisations worldwide- i am working with refuges and foreigners in order to provide extensive training on how to conquer britain. It is a free service so if any other muslim or foreigner is interested to attend the services to get a better "know how" as we are apparently all here to establish Sharia and "get the brits".. feel free to drop me a DM.
Other then that im open for further questions, lots of love Zahra ❤

She seems she has never read the Quran(s).
There is no place in the Quran where Mu hamma d tells Muslims to love people of other religions. By contrast there are at least three dozen verses that tell believers to fight against non-Muslims, and about 500 that speak of their place in Hell.
To put this in perspective, nearly two out of twelve verses in the Quran implies that Allah hates non-Muslims to the extent that he will torment them for eternity in horrible ways. The Suras that make reference to this comprise about 95% of the Quran's total volume. If Allah creates infidels merely to fuel the fires of Hell, then there is little reason for Muslims to believe that such lives are of any worth in this world either

Much much more independent then the average woman in southasian countries such as Pakistan for example.

So she is right, if they allow trans they should allow NIQABI. Or just forbid both in my humble opinion. Children read people on body language, expression etc. and thats kind of hard if the staff are wearing NIQABI/Hijab/burka or dress wierd and confusing to children (trans)

STILL, Mohammed's WIVES (MOTHERS of MUSLIMS) DID NOT USE HIJAN until The Future 2nd Caliph OMAR CHASED and HARASSED Mohammed's Wives especially SAWDAH! OMAR got TRAPPED as FEARED HIS HEAD CHOPPED if SAWDAH complained to Mohammed! OMAR worked at BBC as THE HEAD ANCHOR in his previous life and he MASTERED the art of SPINNING everything for HIS PERSONAL BENEFIT! So, OMAR MADE UP A STORY! He told Mohammed that Mohammed's Wives were NOT COVERING THEMSELVES "PROPERLY" and that was "TEMPTING" for him! OMAR told Mohammed that HIS WIVES MUST COVER THEMSELVES BETTER! Mohammed spoke to HIS "ALLAH" and Allah gave him THE VERSE FOR HIJAB to basically SHUT UP OMAR!
STILL, the HIJAB VERSE is NOT a COMMAND and NOT for EVERY WOMAN but Mohammed's Wives! EVEN SO, The Arabic Word HIJAB (NIQA, BURQA'A, etc., NOT in the Quran) simply means COVER (or COVERING) like THE TABLE COVER!

Zara has an amazing sense of courage and articulates from an openminded perspective. Moreover, she is very relatable and articulate. Thank you, Lubna, for inviting her to share her experience. Even as a non-Muslim, I cannot begin to fathom the discrimination she has experienced. Yet, I truly empathize with her unfairly having been the subject of being unfairly judged…including from people one might not always anticipate. Even in my own upbringing, certain family members and “friends” made me feel like an outsider for not being a carbon copy of them, telling me I “don’t belong” if I don’t conform. In the end, I refused to capitulate and carved my own path with self-awareness, humanity, love and compassion.
If there is any message I would like to relay to Zara, it would be the following: Zara, never stop believing in yourself, in your values. Live life to the fullest. Your beauty and humanity are not defined by the expectations of others. May you be blessed with long life, good health, happiness, prosperity, love and personal fulfillment. Peace and love to all!☮❤

Human communication is a compex business. We take into account the background, knowledge, honesty and trustworthyness of the speaker. We rely heavily on non verbal communication to make our decisions about the speaker and their thoughts.
In this case and those like it, we are not able to make any such judgements so this type of communication is suspect and effectively worthless.

The way i heard it from a Muslim scholar, the Niqab is not a religious requirement. The wearing is based on one passage with regards to a curtain, yes there is a requirement to dress modestly but you can do that without drawing to attention to yourself and the face viel does exactly that.
55% of communication is nonverbal so you're putting obstacles in the way.

Islam is diverse with various interpretations and sects, sects within sects, each with its own beliefs and practices. This diversity raises the question of which interpretation is the “right” one. Among Muslims, there are differing opinions on the most authentic books of Hadith, leading to debates and divisions and worse. Additionally, the meanings and translations of classical Arabic in the Quran continue to be a source of contention.
Muslims often selectively follow aspects of Islam, leading to disagreements over what is considered Halal. Contrary to the common belief that there is only one version of the Quran, there are actually over 32 different versions, which are not identical word to word as Muslims have been educated /taught/forced to believe. This fact has been acknowledged by independent scholars and was also confirmed by Yasir Qadhi, who later faced threats and was forced to retract his statements to protect his reputation.

Modest should never limit your inability to do things or neglect your responsibilities as an adult or hide your imperfections. Niqab is an extreme case of religiosity an there is no data or science can support this is needed anywhere. All is vanity. If you build a society based on looks than what you bring to the table. Hello!
Ive decided to write this last comment to summarise my point and then leave it to it for this video as to be honest it is very time consuming to catch up with everything and also a lot of the comments here are so badly composed that i seriously struggly to understand what the writer is trying to bring across.
I can understand that someone is uncomfortable with the way muslims dress, that they dont like it or even hate it.
But this doesnt mean that we have to behave like animals in public and display antisocial behavior towards others just because we dont agree with how they look.
I do teach my children to have certain manners and etiquettes when dealing with other humans, unfortunately it is very hard to teach them these things when a lot of people behave very contradictory.
Also the people who said i could simply solve all my problems by removing my veil or move to another country - firstly, if i start to remove my veil then where will i eventually end ? As there are people that hate headscarves or hate the way the southasian community dresses altogether. Should i now totally abandon everything that i am in order to please others? Meanwhile others are artificially alternating their biological composition and get praise for it and even have their dedicated month.
Secondly, i am selfmade and will always be. I didnt come to the UK by your permission and neither do i live here on any of your money. I dont think anyone has the right to tell me where to go!
With that said, thanks to everyone who has been civil and constructive and again i repeat myself, i personally believe that there are enough internal problems within the muslim/asian community that we have to deal with rather then trying desperately to please others.

Out of all the things discussed in the video this is the point that is questioned .. if i was raised in Germany or not. This is so ridiculous to me that it even gets questioned. If someone doesn't speak English then it is an issue, if someone doesn't speak English well enough it is again an issue, and if someone speaks English with their native accent or any other damn accent then again it is an issue and people get alarmed and try to determine whether you are fake or not.
How old are we? Sorry but I'm not a little kid that sits down and makes a video in which I desperately try to fake a foreign accent. I do find this quite insulting to be honest. If I was a blonde, rosy skinned woman with no headscarf no damn person would dare to question my place of growing up. British people do care that you wear the Niqab. We are just kind and polite, and do not like to offend. This does not mean we like it. Eventually people will ask for it to be banned. It is just a matter of time. It is extremely intimidating and inconsiderate towards others in society. We do not walk around wearing a huge crucifix, or a huge star of David. We do not push our religions in other people's faces (our faith is personal and discrete). We do this to be considerate and in the interest of the wider community. It would help if you could show the same consideration and play your part in creating a kind, considerate cohesive society. It is sometimes not about what is best for you, it is what is best for society as a whole. Just because Britain allows you freedom of expression does not mean that every expression is going to be considered acceptable. Example: If some people suddenly decided that they can only be happy if they never wear any clothes again (which is as equally extreme as full face and body covering), do you think this would be a) practical and b) accepted by the wider community? The answer is no to both. This is exactly how people feel when they see you in your Naqib. They do not dislike you as a person or your religion, it is just the Naqib (and Burqa).

And I think your English is good (and more understandable than some native UK speakers I've heard) and was surprised people did not want you to help them via your prior job. I thought it a fascinating that you outlined wearing niqab for various reasons-( cultural reasons in particular) I never knew this could be the case. I also was shocked that you suggested people walk up and talk to a person in a niqab. I never thought this was polite or acceptable in most cases (accept for offering help perhaps). I found your reasons for wearing niqab fascinating, it was to keep your desires and wants in check. Lubna, Zahra was fascinating I vote to have your back on for an interview, and the UK was brining people over from the Caribbean since the 1950's, perhaps the 1940's. Dear Lubna and @ZahraZahra-fx9qb, Thank you for sharing this interview! NIQAB is NOT in the Quran. So, its NON-QURANIC and NON-ISLAMIC! The HIJAB VERSE of the Quran has HIJAB only and HIJAB in ARABIC means COVER (or COVERING) just like a TABLE COVER! STILL, the HIJAB VERSE is NOT a COMMAND and NOT for EVERY WOMAN but Mohammed's Wives!
Mohammed's WIVES (MOTHERS of MUSLIMS) DID NOT USE even HIJAN until The Future 2nd Caliph OMAR CHASED and HARASSED Mohammed's Wives especially SAWDAH when they went out to the fields for their personal reasons and needs! OMAR got TRAPPED as HE FEARED HIS HEAD CHOPPED if SAWDAH complained to Mohammed! STILL, it was ONLY for MOHAMMED'S WIVES, NOT FOR OTHER WOMEN, and NOT A COMMAND of Allah for ANYBODY!
HIJAB, NIQAB, BURQA'A, etc. CAME FROM AFRICA (Egypt, etc.) and is CULTURAL! Studies show that EIGHTY (80) % MUSLIM GIRLS and WOMEN who are THE "G'RAPE" VICTIMS were SEXUALLY ASSAULTED by THEIR OWN FAMILY (MAHRAMS) and CLOSE FAMILY FRIENDS! So, generally, NON-MAHRAMS (Muslims and Non-Muslims) DID NOT ATTACK them and the HIJAB, NIQAB, and BURQA'A "PROTECTION" was ALMOST UNNECESSARY and INEFFECTIVE but THEY WERE VICTIMIZED in THE SAFETY of THEIR HOMES and COMMUNITY and NOT by THE "IMMORAL" KAFIRS (Non-Muslims)!

One thing is sure, this is not natural, maybe kids r forced to wear these as children and develop an insecurity without them when they grow up.
Also in every way this cloth is bad in every way for kids development and should be discouraged and definitely doesn't equal freedom of religion or freedom to wear anything like sikh turban or anything else.
U will definitely not have the freedom to wear anything in society with a majority or significant niqabi dominant society.

The niqab in western culture is a demonstration of arrogance. People will avoid a woman wearing a niqab. The niqab is controversial even in Muslim majority countries. The niqab is not explicitly required in Islam. Most Islamic scholars, past and present, do not consider it a religious obligation. So why wear it. It offends people, but because of accusations of racism, people are tolerant of it. Perhaps get rid of it and have a life. A Western civilised life. Historically, the niqab was largely limited to women in the Najd region of present-day Saudi Arabia and some Gulf Arab countries. It is not considered a symbol of freedom of expression, it is considered an act of domination. Muslims might not like to hear that, but it is true.

@@lubna.candid Are we discussing what is legal, I was discussing what offends. It is a feature of western democracy that we have no right not to be offended. That is, we can offend and be offended by people and there is no legal prohibition. So being legal and being offensive are separate conversations. If you advocate for a more accepting society, the niqab is not the right way to do it. In my view, it is an abuse of our tolerant civil society. This is an affront to secular values. The following might be of interest. It deserves more than a cursory look.
Several Muslim-majority countries have implemented bans or restrictions on the niqab (face veil) recently:
      1. Tunisia banned the niqab in public institutions in 2019, citing security concerns.
      2. Morocco banned the manufacturing, marketing, and sale of burqas (which include face coverings) in 2017.
      3. Chad banned the full-face veil in 2015 after terrorist attacks.
      4. Cameroon banned the full-face veil in its northern region in 2015 due to security concerns.
      5. Egypt has implemented partial bans on the niqab in some universities and government buildings. In 2023, the Egyptian government mandated a full niqab ban in schools.
      6. Algeria banned the niqab in the workplace for public sector employees in 2018.
      7. Tajikistan, while not explicitly banning the niqab, has implemented strict regulations on religious dress, including bans on hijabs in schools and government buildings.
      8. Kyrgyzstan has proposed legislation to ban the niqab, citing public security concerns.
      9. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have also implemented restrictions on religious clothing, including face coverings, in certain public spaces.
The reasons given for these bans often include security concerns, preserving secular values, or combating what some governments perceive as religious extremism.

But in the uk and many other non muslim countries alot of people dont like it due to many reasons and so you have to see it from there view too. The problem is we are all changing all on journey so we all need to go to the right destination if we are true muslim we should really go to muslim lands that way we are being accommodated the problem is the muslim countries are not very good in many ways which they need to work on so we end up in the west who we dont have the same culture or belief with so the fault deep down lies on us our islamic leaders who let us down. Even though the west is accommodating in some ways but we should think and appreciate that we can then blend in but we really should blame our own kind first if we had good opportunities theres so many muslim countries same should be for the reverts we should welcome them to move to decent islamic countries but unfortunately we need more from islamic leaders who encourage this.

Zahra said: Islam is based on Facts and authentic sources, not on what xyz has to say. I am happy Zahra you wrote that. Right!!!
    6. Fact: Allah is the Pre-Islamic moon-god of Arab tribes (with authentic sources !!!! if you wish, I can give in Arabic)
Here is the proof: Sura (36:1+2): “Yā sīn God knows best what He means by these letters.”
    a) Who knows best in the last Sura? It is Allah. For instance: An-Nahl 16:101 “…and Allah knows best”.
    b) What is meant by Ya-sin in the last Surah? Here Allah swears by Ya-Sin. In reality, he swears by no higher person than by himself to make the Surahs truthful. He is God. That means that Ya-Sin and Allah are the same persons.
    c) But who is Ya (god) Sin? Who is the god Sin? Answer: Sin or Suen also known as Nanna was the Mesopotamian god representing the moon. (Reference: Sin (mythology, Wikipedia).
Conclusion: Allah is Ya Sin is the moon god
    3. The archaeological evidence demonstrates that the dominant religion of Arabia was the cult of the Moon-god. In Old Testament times, Nabonidus (555-539 BC), the last king of Babylon, built Tayma, Arabia as a center of Moon-god worship. Segall stated, "South Arabia's stellar religion has always been dominated by the Moon-god in various variations. “I showed you below that the word Allah was used in the pagan Pre-Islamic Arab world, and that he was the moon god .
    4. In pre-Islamic times, the Arabs had several gods. The most important are : Ya-Sin, and as you see Surah 53:19-21 and the Arab gods Al-LAt Al-Izzah and Manat, which were the daughters of Ya-Sin with the sun. Even in these times, Ya-Sin was called Allah The God above all. Muhammed put away the Arab gods Al-LAt Al-Izzah and Manat and proclaimed the moon god Ya-Sin as the only god (Allah). Nobody claims that the Arabs worship now these gods. But Allah the moon god is The God (Allah) until today.
    5. When Mohammed proclaimed his creed: 'There is no God but Allah,' he was not trying to introduce a new God. His pagan countrymen knew and acknowledged this divinity. His name, Allah, occurs already in pre-Mohammedan times, both in inscriptions and in compound personal names like Abd Allah, 'servant of Allah.'

Hi.I have looked into the AL LAH moon goddess stuff.
AL LAH is moon goddess for Africa. She also known as Saleene elsewhere.
Yet,in Ancient Arabic the moon goddess is TALAB. so that mirrors Muhammads family lot,eg Abdul Mutalib,Abu Talib and Ali bin Talib. And muhammad is white skinned hence the moon link.
Also with the spelling of ALLAH 👈 That is not the genuine letters.
Karen Armstrong author of a Muhammad biography, has that Muhammad said pagans use two Lam's,so Muhammad used three for distinguishing purposes.
      ALLH is Pagan based.
      ALLLH is what Muhammad said
      Islams Allah is ALLH based.
They have replaced A Lam with an Alif,by using the Lam&Alif symbol. That is what I see.
A viking ring also has three Lam's.

The niqab means several things to me. 1. It's a sign that here is a person (maybe it's a woman, you can't be sure) who wants to hide her identity and intentions. This fills me with an unsafe emotion. 2. It means that here is a person who is very dedicated to Islam. Very dedicated could mean radical islamist. I know it's only a small portion that are radicalized but anyway, the niqab again gives me an unesy feeling. 3. The niqab signals that here is a person who wants to impose an ideology which is absolutely incompatible with a western society. I don't believe that these perceptions apply to the guest in this video, but I, on the other hand believe that many people share my thoughts about the niqab. Therefore niqabis should not be surprised if they are frowned upon for intruding their relegion/ideoligy in a westen culture.

Many Islamic bomber have used niqab and now recently Muslim women in niqab and hijab suicide bombed and killed around 30-40 people in Nigerian. Which seems to be happening often but never reaches mainstream news channels.
Good dialogue, but what she’s missing is the freedoms she gets in western countries. She admitted she had issues even in Pakistan. Imagine how the Christian’s are suffering.
Even though she seems like a nice lady, her ideology or religion she follows is a big issue. It would’ve been good to know how much she actually understands about and which way she would vote regarding sharia.
My hope with these insightful interviews, is that Muslims start to enquire more deeply about their religion and seek to find out what their highest leader’s interpretations are and if it’s compatible with the freedoms Muslims enjoy in western countries.

I believe as the world becomes "small" via internet, trade, tourism, education, basically forming a global village,we shall start seeing some of these so called culture/ and religious restrictions erode. Case in point is Saudi allowing women to drive, and Morocco allowing women to watch sports.Yes years ago it was unthinkable to have interracial marriage especially a black and a white.
So I think religion withstanding, we make too much talk about what women wear. Heck we should may be take alesson from the tribes in the Amazon who dont make it a big deal. Also note that from evolutionary point of view clothes are for protection from environmental elements than from Man kind.

That's primarily because Shias don't think much of the Prophet's companions .

Dear Sarah from the interview. Do you listen to music? A little only? What a pity. You are not more a Muslim. Here the proof (based on facts you always wish)
According to Surah Luqman, ayah-6, and most Islamic scholars, listening to music, with or without instruments, is considered haram or forbidden. This prohibition is rooted in the belief that music can lead to immoral behavior, distract from religious obligations, and promote sinful attitudes and actions.
(haram the contrary of halal !!)
