MAIDEN VOYAGE Fuel Economy in my new 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition!

In this video I discuss the fuel economy of my brand new 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. My trip from Del Rio Texas to my house was exactly 1,000 miles. This was the maiden voyage of my Land Cruiser. She handled the roads beautifully… but the MPGs are a bit bleak, haha. BUT we don’t buy these vehicles for their fuel economy. The thirsty 5.7L V8 is known for reliability, not conserving gas. =]
What’s the worst fuel economy you’ve ever experienced and in what vehicle? Would you take 12-15 mpg in exchange for bulletproof reliability? My 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro and 2023 Tundra TRD Pro both got 16-19 mpg. My Tundra got worse fuel economy because of its larger 35in KO2 tires. The Sequoia got around 18-19. So the Land Cruiser here isn’t muuuuch worse even compared to the V6 hybrids. 🤷‍♂️
