I learned from my trainer that having giant muscles doesnt necessarily mean your strong it's mostly for aesthetic purposes, my trainer told me that he used to know some guys that were really ripped and they were weak as hell working out for strength is structured differently then for getting toned like a body builder.
I built up some serious muscles working 12-years volunteering at a church food bank. I was the only person there young enough and strong enough to work with all the heavy boxes laden with food, opening them, stacking them, and getting them ready for the homeless. Backbreaking work but very satisfying.

its kinda sad because a lot of them actually had good bodies before injecting the stuff. Also something to keep in mind is that Brian Shaw, 4x Worlds Strongest Man, has biceps that measure in at about 26 in.
I laughed way harder than I should have at the pic of croissant guy with those chicken legs! 😂😂 Seriously though, why do people intentionally do that to themselves?!
Probably Body Dysmorphic Disorder or something along the lines of that. People like the ones in this video are suffering from a mental illness that can get pretty serious if they don’t receive proper help for it. They are people with this illness who have ended up having limbs amputated and the like because they didn’t receive proper help.
One thing to note about weights: just because a weight is the size of a 45lb plate does not mean it is 45lbs. There are some 10lb and even 15-25lb plates that look like a 45lb plate. Those weights may be fake, but they also might not be and just be something less than 45lb plates.

With the guy who gained muscle mass and lifted less. When I was in high school, I was max squatting 560lbs. 5 foot 8 and 170 lbs. I didn't look nearly that strong. There were only two guys that out squatted me and they were both over 250 lbs. My max bench wasn't super impressive, but it was 275 lbs. Which was still above average for most guys I was competing against. Muscle mass isn't what people think. On my wrestling team, I had the fastest time for 1, 3 and 6 mile runs (I'd drop down to 132 weigh class during wrestling season). On my football team, I would come in second or third for gassers. Ranking in the top three for legs on my football team for lifting weight and top 10 for arms. I didn't look it. You can work out for results or you can work out for looks.
