I am the youngest of 4 daughters. My father was jealous of my youth, a sister jealous of my looks. My mom gone, my rest sisters uncaring. In the end, I cut out everybody.
I have plenty fake family members. When I accomplish something some of them are not happy for me at all. But if I'm going through something they have alot of negative things to say.For the past 8 years I've stopped announcing my accomplishments. And whenever I'm going through things I never tell them. Right and Truthfully in my opinion, what’s even more messed up is that the people who have all those things go out of their way to say that their family member is jealous of them. But truthfully they’re not. Like I have a family member who goes out of their way to flaunt their successes in my face just to see if I will get jealous. When I’m really just trying to mind my business and live my own life, too busy with my own life to worry about someone else’s. When someone in my family has an accomplishment, I am genuinely happy for them, I show that by supporting them, liking their post, participating and if I have the money, supporting their business, showing up to the baby shower, weddding, prom, or graduation. Everybody does not show their support in a hype way. Does that mean they are jealous? No, it just means everybody has a way of showing their support. I also don’t like how certain family members are always purposefully doing all this stuff to make someone feel jealous. Because jealousy comes from feeling inadequate. And if the family member who has all this stuff wants to be better than that family member who they know already feels inadequate is childish, as a family, we should all work to make sure everybody has the same amount of love and attention. Some parents will only love the favorite child. Or only love the child who has all the cars, money, degrees and houses and gives them the grandkids. Sisters fight over boyfriends and husbands. The more prettier sister will make the sister who is more introverted and has trouble getting boyfriends feel inferior to them. Brothers fight over girlfriends and money. If family members come together as one and stop competing against eachother then jealousy would not even arise because everybody would congratulate everybody on any accomplishment wether big or small. Like for me it’s not that I am jealous. How could I be jealous of my family when everybody’s life is different. We all have successes and failures that make up the person we are. It’s when a family member contstantly points out your failures or tries to show that” I did it bettter than you and you didn’t” it’s very childish behavior. It’s petty and vindictive. Families. I was telling her today about my new job and benefits etc. all the upgrades.. she made me repeat myself acting like she couldn’t hear me ( I was driving on highway) repealed myself again and her comment was like “ gotcha” smh. After my father died my father‘s family hated my guts for no reason. I’ve never done anything to any of them. I’ve never asked them for a dime. I’ve worked since I was 18 years old supporting myself. I’ve never been nothing but kind and nice to all of these folks. So I cut them off this year. I speak to absolutely no one. then I got a divorce and I cut off my husband and his entire family. Am I lonely sure. All I have at this point is my mother and my son And a handful of friends and family that genuinely love me . and that’s enough.

My own family is never jealous of me, but my cousins, aunts, and uncles are. My family has a bad history of not getting along with each other. It even caused me some emotional abuse over the years. They try to gossip bad things about my family when it’s false. They also look at me less because I grew up poor, it really hurts. I kept a very dark secret for my sister for a very long time. I was in a difficult situation, called her talked to her about it. We hung up. Called her right away to tell her “ please don’t mention it to my parents I’ll find the right time and place to talk about it “ I couldn’t believe it !!! She tells me “ too late they know already” like it was nothing to her Since then, I knew. I felt it in my heart to stay away from her.

I just thought she hated me for calling her out on her b.s. I understand I talk in extreme positivity, but somehow they think I always know everything, but the reason is everything will always be fine in the end. I'm the only one in my family who was the bread winner and supported my family for 7 years even though a few of them were perfectly able to go out and find jobs of their own and the jealousy I got from some of these lazy people was outrageous. Even now I've left my job and started my own business and making money from it these same people still won't make an effort to better themselves or even get a job but will still talk trash about me behind my back and try to twist every good thing I do or that happens to me into something bad or make it seem like I fell short in some way. Even go as far as calling me a "loser" behind my back even though I'm the one who's been supporting the family and making money for all these years. It really makes no logical sense.
My sister was jealous of me for being thin whereas she was fat. She would put me down day in and day out, but do NOTHING for her situation. Once, fed up, told her that if the time and energy she wasted in puyying me down, she invested it in exercising and diet-ing, she'd have a nicer body than me. Thrre was zero impact, she kept putting me down. If I were her, I would be inspired by my sister going swimming and eating healthy, and follow her foot steps and ask for advice. The relatives thinks that you are not related to them, that’s why they treat you badly, behave hateful, don’t want to be bothered. I found out 15 years ago that there were many unofficial adoptions from the beginning of time up until the 1940s where there were no paperwork, no attorney nor court, nothing legal. You just take the baby, infant, small child, home with you and when the ‘census records takers’ comes around you just tell them that its your daughter/son if they will be too young to remember that they were separated from their biological parents. They are not never told about whatever happened to their parents, that they were/are not their children, and that they are not the parents. Not only did relatives take in the orphans but none relatives or friends of the parents and neighbors. Back then heads of households took in strangers when they didn’t have nobody to stay with; and the census records aren’t correct as to the ‘role’ of the baby, small child to the head of households, in many cases if the infant, small child isn’t no kin then they are mistreated badly, not talked to, nor cared about nor looked out for and encouraged to do better or stay in school. This is the reasons that you may not be liked, respected, cared about, talked to, looked out for by who you think is your parents, grandparents, greats, aunts/uncles cousins and other kin. Collect the Family history anyway, because you could be possibly cousins, you would have to get an Ancestry dna test or 23&me to find out for sure!

I remember coming back home on vacation from the military, a older cousin who used to pick on me saw the SUV I had and he was jealous as fuck. You know how some people HAVE to find something to nit pick about? He asked me some technical question about the car, I did not know, he spent the next 2 hours talking about how I did not even know about the vehicle, he also kept talking about how he was going to join the military but decided not to... bro you are 40, I'm 22, can I live? That was basically the last time I said anything much to that guy.
My cousin tried to copy me on everything. He was much better than me at school but then when i picked law at university he did too. He left because he couldn't make it but i did. I found a gf, he criticized her saying she looked like a little kid and then he copied even that by getting with my gf's parents. He left her while he was cheating on her and now he's miserable, without any future relying on his parents and blames others for that.
The worst part it was my dad and he made sure to remind me he provides for us anytime we voiced a opinion , he always shot my ideas and accomplishments down , he never cared a reason why he finds out days after , he calls it not real work since it isnt physical

After my father died my father‘s family hated my guts for no reason. I’ve never done anything to any of them. I’ve never asked them for a dime. I’ve worked since I was 18 years old supporting myself. I’ve never been nothing but kind and nice to all of these folks. So I cut them off this year. I speak to absolutely no one. then I got a divorce and I cut off my husband and his entire family. Am I lonely sure. All I have at this point is my mother and my son And a handful of friends and family that genuinely love me . and that’s enough.

My dad is only happy when I am sad & sickly. I have been feeling good lately & I made a mistake..Today I told my dad that I concentrated on mathematics and he said “be careful concentration & mathematics can be harmful” wow, at that moment I KNEW he was jealous. I regret telling him ANYTHING! It also made me sad to know that he feels better bringing his own daughter down. My own family is never jealous of me, but my cousins, aunts, and uncles are. My family has a bad history of not getting along with each other. It even caused me some emotional abuse over the years. They try to gossip bad things about my family when it’s false. They also look at me less because I grew up poor, it really hurts. Never celebrating my accomplishments, but always rubbing everything they accomplished in my face.
I don’t make a lot of friends since I think I meet the wrong people, judging me, it really affects me. I still stand strong though. 🙏🙏

Tyler, as far back as I can remember, my mother has been jealous of me. I wasn’t aware that it was jealousy, however, until fairly recently. I just thought she hated me for calling her out on her b.s. Maybe it’s that as well. 😂 Anyway, recognizing this, while it may make me feel better on the one hand, on the other it makes me feel very sorry for her. It must be terrible to feel this way. I always want the best for everyone, and am honestly happy for them whenever they succeed at something, even though (I will admit) that a part of me wishes it would happen for me. But then I realize that nothing is stopping me but me. Thank you for this video - it makes me see how prevalent this is in most families, so I don’t feel like an isolated case. 👍

My own so called dad got mad because I moved away from a place that hated and moved to a place I loved. When I moved he stopped calling me and he never came to visit me and I I’ve closer to him now. And when my relationship went sour he was happy about that because he thought I would struggle and I didn’t struggle

Somehow all my family talks shit. Uncles, cousins, and friends. I understand I talk in extreme positivity, but somehow they think I always know everything, but the reason is everything will always be fine in the end. Sometimes I wonder if I am egoistic for thinking like this or if I am living in a different frequency. Everything I do; getting a job, traveling, family tasks. There’s always something they talk about. But never in my face. I would respect someone who says it to my face rather than someone who talks shit. The irony is that I am genuinely happy when they succeed in something. Negativity never reproduces with me.

Thank you, I just needed to be reminded of this. I'm the only one in my family who was the bread winner and supported my family for 7 years even though a few of them were perfectly able to go out and find jobs of their own and the jealousy I got from some of these lazy people was outrageous. Even now I've left my job and started my own business and making money from it these same people still won't make an effort to better themselves or even get a job but will still talk trash about me behind my back and try to twist every good thing I do or that happens to me into something bad or make it seem like I fell short in some way. Even go as far as calling me a "loser" behind my back even though I'm the one who's been supporting the family and making money for all these years. It really makes no logical sense.

My sister was jealous of me for being thin whereas she was fat. She would put me down day in and day out, but do NOTHING for her situation. Once, fed up, told her that if the time and energy she wasted in puyying me down, she invested it in exercising and diet-ing, she'd have a nicer body than me. Thrre was zero impact, she kept putting me down.
If I were her, I would be inspired by my sister going swimming and eating healthy, and follow her foot steps and ask for advice. Not put her down for taking care of herself, wtf us wrong with those people? :/

The relatives thinks that you are not related to them, that’s why they treat you badly, behave hateful, don’t want to be bothered. I found out 15 years ago that there were many unofficial adoptions from the beginning of time up until the 1940s where there were no paperwork, no attorney nor court, nothing legal. You just take the baby, infant, small child, home with you and when the ‘census records takers’ comes around you just tell them that its your daughter/son if they will be too young to remember that they were separated from their biological parents. They are not never told about whatever happened to their parents, that they were/are not their children, and that they are not the parents. Not only did relatives take in the orphans but none relatives or friends of the parents and neighbors. Back then heads of households took in strangers when they didn’t have nobody to stay with; and the census records aren’t correct as to the ‘role’ of the baby, small child to the head of households, in many cases if the infant, small child isn’t no kin then they are mistreated badly, not talked to, nor cared about nor looked out for and encouraged to do better or stay in school. This is the reasons that you may not be liked, respected, cared about, talked to, looked out for by who you think is your parents, grandparents, greats, aunts/uncles cousins and other kin. Collect the Family history anyway, because you could be possibly cousins, you would have to get an Ancestry dna test or 23&me to find out for sure!

My cousin tried to copy me on everything. He was much better than me at school but then when i picked law at university he did too. He left because he couldn't make it but i did. I found a gf, he criticized her saying she looked like a little kid and then he copied even that by getting with my gf's parents. He left her while he was cheating on her and now he's miserable, without any future relying on his parents and blames others for that.
The worst part it was my dad and he made sure to remind me he provides for us anytime we voiced a opinion , he always shot my ideas and accomplishments down , he never cared a reason why he finds out days after , he calls it not real work since it isnt physical
