Many thanks for the informative video :) May I ask how your documents were legalized in Nigeria? I gather Nigeria is not a member of the Apostille Convention. What agency/ ministry (and its location) did you use to legalize the documents?
Hi dear, i really appreciate your explanation and everything. If you don't mind, could you let me know where I can find further details about 'defering the scholarship' because I can't find it in the guideline tho. thanks in advance
Are you willing to stay in Korea and I’m sure that you will stay after the college but please how many years it will take you to have the passport or the nationality 😅❤ and thank you
I’m not sure yet about staying because I can’t reapply for GKS. But for the citizenship it takes a while and it depends on your situation and you also have to take exams
Hello Please can i ask you about the recommendation letter Actually where i went for my senior secondary school is a government school not the same with the junior school and its a government school where principals and teachers are being transferred annually I went there to get a recommendation letter but they said they wont write the recommendation letter according to the gks guildlines they would just give me a normal recommendation letter because the principal said she doesn't know me I want to know if i can get a recommendation letter from the school i went for my junior secondary, they are the ones who can get a full detail of what the gks needs because even as i graduated from there school i still had a close relationship with them and its a private school
Would it be possible to contact a teacher that could give you a good recommendation? Even if they have been transferred out? If that’s not possible then you could ask them to please give you a good recommendation based on your academic performance
Hi! This video was super informative but i have like 3 questions lol, I want to go to a korean university in spring 2024 for my Masters (through my research, years ago, and talking with native koreans they said they start their academic years in the spring as opposed to the US in the fall, so ive been preparing for applications in september/november-ish since my junior year of undergrad) but the GKS-G application opens every year in february, so does that mean I would attend a korean university in the fall instead of spring? would I not apply sept/nov-ish to attend in march through a university? Does GKS-G only operate for fall students? also with the masters program and the language year, are GKS-G recipients that take the language year taking it before or during attending whatever university they are admitted to? Also is the language program online or in-person? sorry if my questions are a little confusing or hectic but these have been stressing me outtt and I cannot find the answer lol. even if you dont have the answer(s) thank you for this helpful video and congrats on getting the gks! 💓
For GKS-G you start your program in the fall mostly. You’ll also take your language course for a year offline and then start your main program once you fulfill the TOPIK requirement.
I watch this video once a month atp. I’ve been meaning to ask, did you leave the same year you graduated? If yes, dies that mean you applied when you were still in school, how did you get your transcript then
Hey i have some questions 1) if i am pursuing my post graduation diploma then do i count the degree of that with my bachelors degree? Or am i not supposed to do that? 2) The cgpa in our university they count only the 3rd year as the cgpa but shouldn’t they be a cumulative of all the years spent in the degree? And if yes then do i count my diploma’s score in my cgpa with my bachelors?
Hi, concerning the language proficiency certificate, if you obtain an English proficiency certificate one from the university you graduated from rather than TOPIK or IELTS...does it work?
Hi pls do I necessarily need to have an international passport before applying because I can't get it until I'm sure I've passed the application process I'm asking in advance for the GKS-U Also Should I include my jamb score as a supplementary document ?? I really need the scholarship for financial reasons should I include in my PS that I gained admission to study medicine at LAUTECH?? PLS reply whenever you can I'm always available
If you’re Nigerian you need your passport to legalize your documents at the Korean embassy. Also JAMB or WAEC certificates can only be included as supplementary documents because they aren’t needed
You can include that you were offered admission as far as you’re not currently studying You can say that you didn’t go for financial reasons as part of your motivations for applying
So, I didn't know I needed this until now. As to making a video for your essays, yes please. I'd really like that.
I’ll look into making one then

I want to study biotechnology, pls work me through on how to apply.
Which school do you think will be the best for me?
Please i have a question regarding this because my school use 4.0 GPA so second class upper start form 2.8, so won't that be a problem. Thank you.
It won’t be a problem
Thank you for this video❤I have a question my degree is 78% can I apply this scholarship? 🙇🏻♀️
The requirements do say 80% but if you can get a letter from your school stating that you’re in the top 20% of your class you definitely can
Hii, for the certificate of expected graduation and the statement of result, did you authenticate yours? Is it a must to authenticate?
I watch this video once a month atp. I’ve been meaning to ask, did you leave the same year you graduated? If yes, dies that mean you applied when you were still in school, how did you get your transcript then
Please any guide for undergraduate 🙏
I don’t know detailed information about undergrad applications and I don’t want to give inaccurate information 🥹

Hi, concerning the language proficiency certificate, if you obtain an English proficiency certificate one from the university you graduated from rather than TOPIK or IELTS...does it work?
You submit it as a supplementary certificate
It doesn’t replace the official proficiency scores
let us collab on a video
Please what are the necessary documents to submit.
They’re all listed in the guidelines that you can find on www.studyinkorea.go.kr
I am Malian , can i still apply
Please check if Mali is in the list of eligible countries in the guidelines
