Good afternoon please If you do not get selected for the university track can you still apply for rhe embassy track
Embassy track ends before uni track usually though?
I subscribed already
Oh your video is nice i'm still applying but came to ask if the embassy can legalize within 2 days cuz i really dont have time My sch deadline is 1 nov
I honestly have no idea. I think it might take longer than that though. I would suggest you just try and see
Hi, thank you very much for the video but I have a question to ask. My university do not give out original transcripts to students they only send it to the school directly instead they issue the "Student copy transcript" when requested, can that be used instead or must it be the original? Thanks again for the video, it was very helpful.
It must be the original transcript
Jeez! This came in handy 🥰 Just noticed your account for the first time, but unfortunately, you’re no longer posting 😢 Hope all is well?
After leaving language school everything got so busy 😭😭 I’ve tried to film but it’s hard to find time to edit
@@shebanigans Oh! I can imagine the stress. It's fine as long as you're alright. All the best ♥️
Thank you very much man for this detailed explanation, please can i apply for gks graduate scholarship 2025 with my National Diploma certificate
Yes you can, but first of all confirm with any schools you apply to if they’ll take it
Please i just finished secondary school pls how can i get letter of recommendation because i have not yet entered the university. I hope you answer me.😊
I don't think letter of recommendation is required for undergraduate. This video is for graduates.
You have to ask for one from preferably the principal of your secondary school. You can also get from one of your teachers
Please recommend a good university that deals with business
But my high school issued my transcript in black and white, will I change it to coloured
I think that’s fine. My BSC transcript was black and white too
@@shebanigans Thanks for answering me, I appreciate 😍😍😍
Please can u coach me
Hi after authenticating my educational documents, birth certificate and my parents nin at the Ministry of education and the ministry of foreign affairs What next? Must I go to a high court in lagos to request a certified true copy stamp on my authenticated documents before legalizing it at the Korean embassy Lagos?
Hello, you do need an affidavit from a high court to legalise but I don’t think you need to certify it
Hi Can I submit my application documents at the Korean embassy in Lagos or it must be in Abuja?
Your application documents should be submitted to the Korean cultural centre in Abuja, not the embassy
Hii so i need to also authenticate my parents nin at the ministry of foreign affairs and legalize at the Korean embassy?
Yes, you do
Hello please what if you are offering diploma now can u send transcripts of your results and please what if you don’t have waec certificate but you have transcripts of high school results and testimonials or high school certificates
The WAEC certificate is a supplementary document. Although I think you’ll need the certificate to authenticate at the ministry of education.
hi, aderonke, i will like to know, if second class lower person can apply for the scholarship. Thanks
Of course you can If your GPA meets the minimum requirements
What about notary public or CTC of the documents
If you’re in Nigeria you must legalise at the Korean embassy in Lagos
Goodday. Please Through embassy track do I have to write 3 different PS?
No you’ll write only one.
i hope you see this i'm trying to apply for the 2025 graduate scholarship starting october, is it a must a go to abuja to validate my documents before application, or after the embassy aspect
The undergraduate scholarship starts in October, graduate starts in February.
But also you must authenticate at the ministries in Abuja before legalisation at the embassy in Lagos and then submission to KCCN in Abuja
Please what can I use as my dad proof of citizenship cuz he doesn’t have nin
An international passport
Please what if my dad doesn’t have nin but still alive because he is not educated
Maybe try to make him get his NIN. It’s pretty easy, and make sure his name on the NIN matches that on your birth certificate
Good morning from Nigeria please am trying to apply to the gks through university trap as undergraduate, I have my passport, transcript, weac result , please is topik a must
It’s not, it’s just an advantage
Please I don't understand that high school transcript is it WAEC results
No it’s the transcript of all your grades form SS1 to 3
Must you have all the documents before applying?
Yes
Must you know a bit of Korean before applying
It’s not compulsory, but it could be an advantage. But people have gotten in with zero knowledge of Korean
Please i have a question regarding this because my school use 4.0 GPA so second class upper start form 2.8, so won't that be a problem. Thank you.
It won’t be a problem
Is the application ongoing for this year or unless next year? I would love to apply for the graduate
Graduate starts around February
Can we just take any coursera course because I’m not seeing any one that matches my course of study in the page?
Take courses that are relevant definitely! Even if they’re just data science courses
Please make videos about essays❤️
I will try my best!
Thank you so much this is so informative. I need to ask you a question if the recommendation letter was written in french so it does to be translated in korean or english what should i do, shall i translate it and give it to my professor to sing on it or how?
It should be translated definitely. Anything that’s not in English or Korean should be translated
Good presentation
Thank you for sharing but must your birth certificate and parents nin slip be coloured ..because i just printed it black and white
I don’t know if the colour matters. I will say that my mum’s NIN was black and white and that wasn’t a problem
Sorry for the numerous questions but is it necessary for me to get my international passport ready before legalization in Lagos??😢
I’m sorry I can’t remember
Please does the letter of recommendation necessarily need to be in an envelope, aspiring undergrad here🥹🙏🏾
It has to be sealed in an envelope
Thank you very much for this detailed video, please is it necessary to state the name of your university in the recommendation letter if I'm going through university track??
Probably a good idea to make it very specific
Hey love, what school are you in? Also are you a GKS-G scholar? If yes, what track did you use please?
I’m at Chungbuk National university and I applied through embassy track
Honestly. This helped alot. What group where you in. You keep mentioning a group.
Hello Please can i ask you about the recommendation letter Actually where i went for my senior secondary school is a government school not the same with the junior school and its a government school where principals and teachers are being transferred annually I went there to get a recommendation letter but they said they wont write the recommendation letter according to the gks guildlines they would just give me a normal recommendation letter because the principal said she doesn't know me I want to know if i can get a recommendation letter from the school i went for my junior secondary, they are the ones who can get a full detail of what the gks needs because even as i graduated from there school i still had a close relationship with them and its a private school
Would it be possible to contact a teacher that could give you a good recommendation? Even if they have been transferred out? If that’s not possible then you could ask them to please give you a good recommendation based on your academic performance
What track did you use to apply and what track would you advise an undergraduate to use?
I can’t really say one is better than the other. I would say weigh your strengths and weaknesses and choose based on that.
Is there a minimum age requirement or undergraduates?
There is but I can’t remember what it is. Maybe you could check the past guidelines, it should be there
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 I've watched so many videos and yours was the most detailed and informative.
Glad it was helpful!
As ill graduate university this September, and the undergraduate program starts application September while graduate starts February, which one would u advise I go for?
Hey love! Just coming to ur channel for the first time and I’m glad I did. I have some questions please, I want to apply for the scholarship in the next batch this September, I’m in my final year in the university here in Nigeria, and I’m graduating September. What advise would u give? Should I apply for the undergraduate or graduate? I just turned 22. Also what transcript do I submit? The one from secondary school? And can my recommender be someone from my university? Even if I’m submitting my secondary school transcript
Is there any need to notorize documents
In a situation where your certificate is not out yet can you use just transcript?
Can a 16 year old student who is done with high school apply for the GKS undergraduate scholarship program?
Hello... Thank you so much for your contents... Please can you explain the authentication and legalization process for nigerian undergraduate applicant in details pls... From where we go to ministry of education, how many photocopies, till ministry of foreign affairs just everything pls, i watched till the end but i am still a bit confused...Thank you so much. I am an applicant for the undergraduate 2025..Hope to get a reply from you🥺💗
What about that of Uganda am confused too Abt the educational document
Ohlkay.. there she said "What do I call this ?" " Anyways" That's too much of k drama😅😅
Please is it compulsory you reply in Korea When asked a question by a Korean What if we are not even fluent in Korea
Hii this is probably a silly question but I am confused. According to the official application guidelines, or the first round you submit 1 copy of everything to your country's Korean embassy, then it says you submit one original copy and 3 photocopys of everything to NIIED. But for GKS-G, it says the result for round 1 is only announced March 22 but also says your round 2 documents will make it to NIIED by April 1st at the latest. Of course, this would not be enough time for some countries' documents to arrive in Korea. I am confused, for the first round do we submit 1 original + 3 photocopies to the embassy, and then if we are selected they will send it to NIIED themselves? By the way you explained the copies here that's what it sounds like to me but I'm not sure.
