- In honour of 23 years of 'The Prince of Egypt' movie, here is my musical tribute to my favourite song from the film. This movie had a huge impact on my Christian faith and appreciation of musical theatre story-telling growing up. Stephen Schwartz's song-writing and Amick Byram's incredible acting through song has profoundly influenced how I approach singing myself. If you've never seen the film before, I highly recommend it. I hope biblical animated movie-musicals like this will start being made again- especially with so many incredible stories in the Bible. However, it will be difficult to reach this calibre of achievement.
