I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year
i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations
The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. Robert also is a person that realizes when he is wrong and if he learned that he misinformed people he will bring a guest on his platform to now help display the correct information. However, what if i could influence half of my youtube subscribers - 1.5m to hold off on their decision on buying BTC for 6-18 months while I test it out first to make sure its safe and or get ahead of it. A few scenarios to think about but what matters now is that the information he gets, he gives and that is a strong characteristic that greedy people don’t have, so be thankful.
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. From how Binance has been handled and currently managed, US govt will want to try to control the crypto space and make it an extension of the US dollar as a tool to control inflation and dollar economy. AMS54K will get the backing eventually because ETH is heading in the opposite decentralised unregulated direction

You are about 20% correct on Bitcoin, keep on studying. Bitcoin is a protocol with built in scripting that can solve web3 and beyond, Mining is the work done to secure the chain of information created by it's users. For this work a miner get a small reward from the system witch will fade out over time, making the transaction reward the main source of income for miners. So read and learn about where the transaction volume is, there you will see where the market will be in future...

any currency must be unchanged standard of the values within the country.
each currency simply represents a real quantity of values in the country
and no one is allowed to make more or less currency than values exist in a particular country.
so,
all inflation / deflation of any currency and any price changes happening because of wrongdoings with the values standards ... basically, it is cheating on public trust
but most people are confused about countries' economic conditions by false data, which intentionally spreading to benefit those who want to cover up their wrongdoings
so sometimes they even start wars or just promote crazy ideas globally and etc ...
I’m 52 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.
bitcoin does not pay any yield but will reward you with growth that you can't find in any other asset class
look at the charts, bitcoin has outperformed every stock and banking product ever developed even after multiple pullbacks over the last decade. not a financial advisor but I know what i'm saying
The key is diversification. Personally, I delegate my investing to an advisor, cos my job doesn't permit the time to perform market analysis myself. Thankfully, my one-time stagnant portfolio has now 5X in four years, summing up nearly 7 figure as of today.

Yeah well, concerning altcoins, there are projects out there that make way more sense than bitcoin from a technology perspective... ICP (Internet Computer), ATOM (Cosmos), VeChain, Propy, XRP, XLM, XDC, Swftcoin, HBAR, Fetch AI, Limewire... just to name a few

I'm confused when you refer to bitoin as private property. Is it currency or is it an asset? Or both? What am I actually buying when you refer to a "coin"? I heard on Tom Bilyeu's podcast that once bitcoin is finished being mined and it's all owned, we have to use it to make it valuable. So I'm confiused about what happens when it's all owned... Question, @TheRichDadChannel : in a world nothing is secret anymore, how can both of you explain this amount of trust within something created by someone nobody knows nothing about ? how does the halving affect the number of btc you have? If you buy 1 btc before the halving, do you then Have 2 bitcoin after the halving? if the prehalving price is 70k, its cut in half to 35k, wouldn't you then have 2 btc?

What you've said is the complete opposite of what's true. Bitcoin is designed to be decentralised.
Change can only occur by consensus of the network: the creator therefore is completely irrelevant as they have no control over it.
The code is also open-source. Anybody can personally verify the code if they need to.
And so you're saying that in its 15 year life, and through having so many people and organisations with vested interest in either taking Bitcoin down or discrediting it... and access to every hacker in the world... that nobody so far has been able to find this "backdoor".
So you're upholding the idea that this creator really is some kind of demi-gold.

I'm not against Bitcoin at all just stating that in the beginning here as I own it and excited for it to go up. It's like these guys are oblivious to xrp being the superior technology to tokenize everything not just cross-border payments. Just have to pay attention to the partnerships ripple is making worldwide, other countries don't care about the SEC court case. Ripple is part of the IMF, they are listed to also work with the federal reserve. I don't know why crypto is so tribal you can like multiple Technologies for different reasons Bitcoin is a store of value. Nobody is really using it to transfer much money or we'll use it long term as it gains value and becomes slower and more expensive. You're a rich dude (dad) alright, Robert - as of now - your 40 BTC's are worth $2.88 M. A good move, indeed. I had the "young guy" advice to do that back in 2009-10 when it was < $1.00. A thousand invested then, at say - $0.39/BTC, stuffed in a digital wallet, and thrown in the back of your sock drawer - would be worth $186.7 Million. I didn't follow that advice - I blame that on the present value principle - it makes me feel a tiny bit better than blaming it on my own short-sightedness. Great interview - I'm going to follow Mr. Breedlove.
